It is based on the views. it has to go above a certain view number to get it red. i think its 360 views to get it red. and if there are too many blue posts it affects the chaska meter ratings.

yes its to do with views
when a post gets 250 views or 15 or 20 comments it turns red more red posts means better chaska meter rank.
