CHAPTER 11
manik was not ready to accept what cabir was saying and cabir also did knew well that he wont easily accept this fact very soon but he also knew that it is manik only who will see the real nandini who loves him very much , not anyone else. cabir holded maniks hand and gave him support through his eyes. he assured manik through his eyes that not to take so much stress.. at that moment nandini entered with coffee for cabir and medicine for manik. she handed the coffee cup to cabir and saw that manik still didnt touch the breakfast rather was staring at her with a blank expression.
n=yeh kya ha?? apne abhitak nashta nahi kia?? kyu?? apki medicine ka time horaha ha..kabhi toa thora apne bareme socha kijiye please.

n=cabir ap beech me mat boliye yeh humesha esa karte ha, office me bhi lunch ka kuch dhyan nahi rakhte ha.. gharse lunch ajata ha 12.30 baje aur yeh karte ha 4.00 baje, ese tabyat toa kharap honi hi ha na???
manik always knew nandini was very caring. in the previous days also she used to take good care of him and his office. manik started to remember those flashbacks, how nandini used to come office within 8.30 and arranged maniks desks, files, his schedule, and his favourite morning coffee. she had every details of what manik used to ask her about his things or his daily routine. he always appreciated her for being responsible so much . after nandini had become manik's PA manik didnt need to care for himself because nandini was there for him. after being with her for so many months today manik understood and excepted that he had become used to of her.
manik also remembered an incident when...
FLASHBACK :
He was in a meeting and it was almost 5 pm , he didnt have his lunch. nandini was very angry so she excused both of them from the meeting for about 15 minutes saying it was an immergency and then dragged him to his cabin , made him sit on the chair
m=whats wrong nandini?? kar kya rahiho?? meeting se ese beech me kyu lekar ayi... i need to go
he stood up to leave, nandini again made his sit down by pushing him through his shoulders

m=what???
n=sir apne time dekha ha??? apne subhah breakfast kia tha office akar 9 baje aur woh bhi sirf ek cup coffee and one sandwich, aur abhi time dekha ha???
she showed him her wrist watch
n=its 5 pm.. sir pehle kuch kha lijiye..i dont care apki meeting ha par u need to have something first then u can resume ur meeting again
manik literally smiled at her behaviour which was similar to his dadi he thought. she arranged some food on a plate and then put it infront of him. manik was staring at the food and then looked her standing beside him like an angry teacher crossing her hands against on her chest ...without making the angry teacher more furious manik began to eat

manik comes out of his thought when cabir shakes him a bit.
m=huh?? kya hua??
c=kaha kho gaya tu??? nandini kabse khari ha tere lie medicine lekar aur tu kya soch raha ha??
manik sees nandini was standing infront of him with a confused expression ; medicine in her hand and waiting for manik's reply
m=ha woh...i'll have the breakfast and medicine once the doctor does the check up

cabir helps manik to sit on the bed. the doctor comes and checks manik. he looks at his wounds and write downs some medicine and antiseptic cream
doctor=hath ke wounds theek honeme one week lagega other wise kuch serious problem nahi ha aur ha forehead me har din first aid change karte rehna warna infections bar jayenge.. and yeh kuch medicines ha inhe regularly dete rehna . he'll be fine soon and koi problem ho then let me know

cabir goes with the doctor downstairs to show him off. nandini sits beside manik on the bed
n=breakfast karlijiye sir... phir apko medicine bhi lena ha
manik looks at the breakfast which she had bought. fried eggs with toast and juice

m=seriously nandini?? mujhe aloo ka paratha khana ha
n=sir...please abhi ap woh nahi khasakte . ap bohot weak ha apko yeh sab healthy khana parega jabtak apki antibiotic ka dose pura nahi hota
m=ma yeh sab patient wala nahi khaunga
n=sir yeh patient wala khana nahi ha please... aur ap yeh khate ha kabhi kabhi
m=haa par ab mujhe aloo ka paratha khana ha...spicy
n=woh nahi milega aur apko yeh khana parega.. sir medicine ka time horaha ha

once she said MANIK.. her eyes became big. manik looked at her with a smirk. her blush was clearly visible on her face. which she was trying to hide by looking to the other side of the bed...

nandini gets up from the bed without looking at him
n=ma kitchen se ati hu..ap yeh please breakfast karlijiyee..
without looking at his face nandini rans out of the room. cabir enters after she goes out . he sits on her place.. and takes a bite of the toast

manik smiles and takes a bite of the toast and fried egg
m=nothing...shes just too shy

nandini was in the kitchen, hiding from manik.
NANDINI'S POV
how did i say manik?? he's my.. husband?? woh mere pati ha par ajtak kabhi esa kuch feel nahi hua jaisa kuch dinose lagta ha. i know woh mujhe apni patni nahi mante.. but this mangalsutra (touches her mangalsutra) has some power, precious effect which has connected both of us till now.. aur mujhe pata ha ke manik mujhe hurt karke kabhi khush nahi the. shayed unke sath mane jo kiya ... phirbhi unhone humesha meri help ki , sath diya mera , har pareshani me mere lie khare hue...shayed isiliye mere dil me unke lie itni izzat ha aur itna pyaar...
nandini blushes to her own when she thinks of the word love. after blushing for sometime on her own she decides to check manik again if he had eaten the breakfast or not. when she was going upstairs aliya comes to the house. seeing her nandini comes down

a=like i need to take ur permission before coming here?? ma manik se milne ayi hu

aliya tries to go up nandini stands infront of him
n=ma tumhe tumhare boyfrend se milnese rokh nahi rahihu , ma tumhe apne patise milnese rokh rahihu.. and woh is waqt rest karraheha aur ma unko kisibhi wajase disturb nahi karna chahti. samajh gayi???

pulls it from her neck and throws it... nandini was about to catch it but before her someone else catches it... it was manik standing along with cabir and the mangalsutra in his hands... nandini was relieved. she was almost crying..manik was fuming in anger. he comes down and stands beside nandini. he looks at her scared face

manik puts his hand infront of aliya and gestures her not to utter anything more.

the full house was echoing maniks words. neither cabir nor nandini or even aliya had seen manik shouting like this before.specially cabir was surprised with his reaction
m=just dont say a single more word. tumhe kya pata shadi ke bareme?? phero ke bareme?? unless u feel those emotions u wont be able to understand it.. pehle ma bhi in sabse dur bhagta tha, is shadi ko nahi manta tha cause i was a monster.. but this girl... she turned me a human. she organized my life, my office everything. yeh shadi mere lie koi maine nahi thi par uske lie humesha important tha , she trusted this relation and uskehi trust ne mere andaar is rishte ko lekar emotions jagai..aur tumne

cabir had a big smile full of relief as he was happy manik is now on the right track. nandini who was standing and left with no words, her eyes full of tears and happiness , for the first time manik claimed nandini as his wife infront of aliya. this was everything for her. aliya left the place.. manik didnt even bother to call her back rather looked at nandini who was looking at him through loving teary eyes. he wiped the tears from her cheek with his thumb. nandini left his hand and wiped the rest of the tears. cabir gestured manik that he is leaving and manik also nodded. manik then looked at the mangalsutra, it needed to be repaired.
