In the next scene itself she let him put the earnings ...before that at night she wanted manik to stay with her till she goes to sleep so it wasnt like she was not comfortable with intimacy

but yes I was a bit confused about that scene in terms what exactly they wanted to convey here but that got cleared when i read @ AY thread
