@Shibz: No, it isn't much different for GECs either...yes they have more cameras but close-ups are shot the same way there also...the person with their back facing the camera still has to be there so that the scene can be shot from a different angle to focus on a character's reactions.

It's the same all across...just that the SCALE of a GEC show is bigger...procedure is more or less the same only...I think KY2 suffers from scheduling problems though...they don't optimize the time of the actors in the best fashion.
