PART 17

His all dreams, about nandini broken into pieces, he was shattered, he was in anger as well as in sorrow, he doesn't know how to react. Everybody came to him.

Dhruv: buddy r u ok.?

Alia: manik... say something..?

Manik: i am leaving guys...

Saying this he left, he drive off, nandini was looking at him silently, that he could not see her. She was crying, crying hardly.

She sit on the ground as she cant stand.

Nandini: i m sorry manik, i don't want to hurt u, but, we r not meant to be together, i m soo sorry manik...

Manik left in anger and goes to his office, where he worked and only worked.

Here nandini too left for the house, today something was not correct.

Manik was working at office that he didnt realised it was 9:30 in the night, he left for the house.

His mom greeted him, but he didnt stopped at goest directly to his room.

His mom was shocked, as always he greet her first and then goes to room. She goes to his room.

He was sitting on the ground crying like a little kid, he was so much in pain. His mother couldnt see this, went inside and started consoling him.

Shaily: shhh, manik. why r u crying.? What happened baby...

Manik was just crying, hugging her mother.

Shaily: manik, kya hua bachha, apni mom se nahi kahoge.?

Manik broke the hug: mom, she left me, she left me mom...!!! I was stood there as a statue and she walked away mom... How could she do it...??

Shaily: shhh bachha. Dont cry. She will come back.

Manik: no mom, she said i am nothing for her.

Shaily: beta , tumhe yad he bachpan me jab bhi tumhe kuch chahiye hota tha to tum kya karte the.?

Manik got confused: mom, me zid karta tha.

It was that day when nandini came to manik's house with her mom. She entered the house, as soon as she saw shaily, she goes to her and touched her feet and fold her hand

Nandini: namaste aunty..!!

Shaily: are beta namaste.

Alok was also there, nandini went to him and also touched his feet and said namaste, in return he placed his hand on her head.

They were sit together, when shaily was in kitchen for serving snacks to guest alok went to the kitchen

Alok: ye kaun he.?

Shaily: are wo meri dost, meri best friend, hamari shadi pr bhi to aayi thi, aur jab manik aaya tha tab bhi ayi thi.

Alok: ha pr ye bachhi.?

Shaily: ye unki beti he, NANDINI.

Alok: ye nandini kahi wahi to jise manik..

Shaily: jee, sahi socha. Ye wahi he.

Alok: hmm.

Shaily: aapko ye pasand to he na.?

Alok: ha par kya nandini bhi manik ko.?

They both smiled and left.

Flashback over.

Manik got fresh and started calling nandini. Nandini first didnt picked up the call, after some time, she switched off her phone.

Manik was really pissed off, he called cabir and asked about her.

Cabir: dont know yarr.

Manik: cabir yar, wo usne ek to aise behave kiya, i could have jumped from the building.

Cabir: woohoo broo shant.

Manik: achha listen, where are u.?

Cabir: just roaming around.

Manik: fine i'll pick u up.

He hung up and left. Soon they meet and found some place to sit and drink beer.

Manik: cabir sach bata aaj kya hua tha.?

Cabir: jo tujhe bola wahi hua tha. Bar bar puchega to answer change nahi hoga.

Manik: cabir dont lie, and who was that jerk, giving me angry looks. Bloody cheapo.

Cabir: wo to pakka he wo.

Manik: matlab tu use janta he.?

Cabir nodded in yes.

Manik: to batana. Kaun he wo.

Cabir: hae cheez ka ej waqt hota he manik, wo sach usi time pe khule to better he.

They both went to her house, but the switches was already off, they waited there, but no one turned up, so they went to home.

Manik couldn't sleep bcz he didnt talked to her.

For few days, nandini maintained distance from manik, which was very unlikely to manik. Manik was trying to talk but every time she disappeared. By the time he was very restless, he couldnt sleep in nights, doing phone calls to nandini. His eyes were red, because of less sleep. Cabir noticed that. He made a plan.

Cabir: guys, i think we should take a break.

Alia: kaisa break cabir.

Cabir: guys, i have a farmhouse, lets go there, have peace, and then we can fresh start.

Mukti: sahi keh raha he cabir. Everything is so messed up.

Cabir: hmm.. So final today at night i will pick mukti, navya, dhruv and alia. And manik please bring nandini with u

Manik got excited as he will have alone time with nandini, so he could talk.

It was evening, nandini didnt know who is coming to pick her up. She got ready on time. She was waiting and a car came, she noticed it was manik. Her mom puts the bags inside the car, hugged her.

Nandu's mom: manik meri beti ka khayal rakhna.

Manik: jaan se bhi zyada.

Nandini sat beside him. He drove off. There was pin drop silence.

Manik: nandini tum kuch...

Nandini: dekhi manik, maine bola tha dur raho, dont talk to me. I am being nice to u, mujhe nahi pata tha ke tum mujhe lene aane wale ho, me mana hi kar deti.

Manik didnt say anything and drive. They reach there in silence. Their friends was there.

They all gathered to the bonfire in the garden.

Sitting arrangement clockwise

Navya, cabir, nandini, mukti, alia, dhruv, manik.

They were talking, while manik just looked at nandini, smilingly, nandini too looked at him.

Mukti: hmmm sooo peace here.

Alia: seriously mukti. And hugged dhruv.

Cabir: manik ek song to banta he.

Manik: sure.

He picked his guitar

Manik: this song is dedicated to someone special. Who is really very near to my heart.

He looked at nandini, who was looking here and there, as if she was ignoring him.

He started singing.

Dhruv and alia stood up and started dancing and cabir and navya too.

Now nandini is nowhere, manik foumd him, looking at pool, he went near to her and sang.

She pushed him again, and went to their friends.

They all are praising him, all were almost drunk by the time, navya slept in cabir's lap. Mukti was drunk. Dhruv and alia were busy in talking. So manik went to nandini, she stood up and started leaving, he pulled her to the pool side.

Nandini: manik chhodo, kya kar rahe ho.?

Manik pull her close: listen nandini, stop doing this. Havent u had enough of this.?

Nandini pushed him: stay away manik

And started leaving.

He catches her and pushed her really close to her, as their nose met each other.

Manik: i cant stay away from u dammit.

Nandini was now calmed, they were so close, that they can feel each others breath on their lips.

Both closed their eyes

Manik rested his head on her head: say something nandini.

Nandini suddenly realise something, she remembered all the things which aditya said, she came to the world and pushed him again.

He held her by her hand

Nandini: manik chhodo mujhe.

Manik: jab tak answer nahi mil jata tab tak no.

Nandini: manik answer maine usi din de diya tha.

Manik: that i m nothing to u.?

Manik make her stand in front of him, looked straight into her eyes.

Manik: say it now nandini.

Nandini looked down.

Manik smiled: whats bothering u nandini. Say it, tell to me.

Nandini: i cant tell u.

Manik: u have to tell me this.

Nandini: nahi me nahi bataungi, aur me tumhe kyun bataun.

Manik was in anger: nandini just tell me, dont test my patience.

Nandini: mr manik malhotra, stay away from me, this is the last warning,

Manik yelled: nandini u have to tell me this...

Nandini was pissed: kya janana chahte ho haa..?? Ke maine aise kyun behave kiya.? Sun paige.?

Manik nodded in yes.

Nandini: fine suno. I have boyfriend. Aditya, he loves me, kuchh din ke liye shayad bhul gayi thi, because we had a fight, but he is back.

She turned herself, now her back facing his front.

She was crying while saying this.

He was shattered, he was null for a moment. He felt that someone broke his heart with a hammer.

Manik didnt say anything, he has tears in his eyes. She left him again.

All this was seen by cabir. He decided to reveal real aditya to manik.

He went there and firstly console him.

Then he said sorry to manik.

Manik: tu kyun sorry bol raha he.

Cabir: i want to tell u something.

Cabir: nandini ne kaha wo sach he, but half truth.

Cabir narrated him the whole story.

Now manik understood why nandini behaving like this.
