Manik stands facing Nandini, blindfolded and chin up in all her innocence. He looks on, at her cloaked eyes, his mind wandering to the threats staring him in the face, the things which can still go wrong despite all his efforts to make everything all right, for himself and Nandini.
The same Manik, who wanted to keep Nandini's positive outlook and spirit alive during the Navya campaign, the same Manik who wanted to uphold her belief that world and its inhabitants are more good than bad << this same Manik is now agitated, just impatient to prove the pandit wrong to her, to give a jolt to her good beliefs that no teacher can be creepy kind of bad with a student. Why? Because this time Manik has forebodings of danger, like he told Cabir today towards the end - Nyonika!!This is the moments where Manik's much talked about secrecy is depicted, Nandini is standing all but blindly in the face of danger, danger from the unknown for which Manik is responsible. Because Nandini is still least aware of Nyonika angle in this pandit scenario so if she doesn't know where the attack is coming from, how will she be prepared. She sensed Manik's troubled heart in his obscure words and voice, the chaos in his silence but being blindfolded to Nyonika, she cannot put her finger on what's troubling him and Manik again, dodged around, literally and metaphorically.Nandini, being the ever shinning hope star of MaNan, spread out her hands and tried to grasp him, any part of him, finally she moved backward, unseeing and landed him much to her happiness and surety. For me it symbolised that despite all the eternal hope which resides in her, and all the support that Manik provides her always, fusion concert will again be a big near mess up, almost blowing up in their face, just about making her lose her tight grasp and Manik will all but slip from her but she will save it, she will shield him and them from the hurt this time. She imprisoned Manik with her back, that's how she will manage to save them metaphorically too.
