Well personally she meant it because she now understands Manik's intent . That has been the Mo of Dhruv-Manik's friendship for years. Agreed to an extent, Genie excepting Dhruv's being unfair in judging Manik. I don't think DHruv was right in what he did but if we talk of unfairness, I don't think DHruv has been much unfair to Manik like Manik has been, unintentionally but still.

DHruv sacrificed his friendship with nandini but didn't play the greatness card or believed in secrecy or lamenting over it secretly but still hiding it from Manik, letting him come to know through other sources.

Similarly, with regards to Alya, DHruv was the one who wanted to tell it all to Manik nd everyone from the very start. He didn't believe in hiding this fact from Manik or in that school of thought which encourages such big things to be hidden from friends in fear of the truth hurting them etc etc.

So DHruv is same but still very different from Manik in this regard. He wants it all out in the open rather than suffering in silence.

@Aliya - Manik was wrong , unfair . But Nandini understands his actions because she will do the same for him. They have same MOs , the saviour complex. She has understood his guilt for his friends and the extremes he goes for them. She was going to Mangalore to protect him without telling him for his friendship with fab5,even now hiding about Pandit , so she gets the secret part. Because she does the same.

She has always be in awe of Manik the friend, she understands the selfless him , so the "intent" she understands and she thinks it was not wrong. The way he went about it can always be questioned.

While Dhruv didn't hide it from Nandini and Manik, it didn't change the fact that he made decision for Nandini even then.

What Manik has been doing all his life with Dhruv is wrong and DHruv is at err because he allowed Manik to let it be like that.

He knows Manik doesn't treat him like an inferior but it is him as a being who feels like an inferior in their equation because of this score they both keep about the deeds they do for each other.

ok i agree about why Nandini say like that,yes from manik's pov he was not wrong as a friend..

and thank you for reminding me dhruv's sacrifice for manik regarding nandu's friendship but if i can remember,dhruv did it openly to both..both manik and nandini were aware of this..so we can't blame dhruv but what manik did was not known by anyone.. I know their base was like that they can sacrifice anyone for each other but still dhruv informed both..but what manik did,was not that wrong?

Oh the goon truth. He kept it a secret for Alya and Manik did hear it from other sources. He allowed his friend to be blamed and be in pain on a false charge while he could have easily relieved him.

Yep right, he hid the goon truth but for Alya, a third person was involved. Because he saw insecurity eating away at Alya, he was wrong in his judgement of MaLya relationship. We all are, when it's somebody's 7yr relationship at stake.

Yes he let Manik protect him to an extent because he was overwhelmed by his fits but I think, immersed in his little fab5 bubble, DHruv didn't know that letting Manik be his protector will get Manik carried away on this Trojan and start secret sacrifice missions just to keep the protector persona alive.
