Since we are talking about HOPE here...

I do understand that every phase of this show requires something different in terms of song choices...

But 'tis the season for HOPE TREES after all so here goes my hope and small wish:

Two songs I REALLY want to see back on MaNan scenes:

1) Jeena Jeena

2) Jaise mera tu

Jeena Jeena because well...it gave me possibly THE most poignant phase in the MaNan story all starting with this gem of a scene

And beyond that, ANY time it played...sad or happy scene...it just made you CONNECT with these two on a whole another level

Another fav being this moment when this song accompanied the simple gesture of her placing her hand on his heart and giving him strength as usual

And then there is Jaise Mera tu...I'm not sure if the creatives of this show are AWARE of the level to which this song elevated the poignancy b/w MaNan in that phase...these visuals kinda sum it up for me...the expressions and the picture these two make in a frame:

And the EARNESTNESS with which Manik sings it to her...the words take on a life of their own beyond whatever the original song was/is

I find this song special also cuz this is the one song they sorta COMPOSED together...the lyrics coming from the pages of Nandu's diary...Manik strumming his guitar, encouraging her to give voice to her poetry and then completing the song along with her...it's one of my absolute fav. Manan sights

So umm yeah...while I understand that the show is in a different phase Manan-wise right now, I would love to see these songs being brought back cuz they elevate MaNan like few songs rarely do...these songs have BECOME MaNan more than any other songs used on them IMO.

Agree.

For me, Nazar laaye..This will be my favourite. They played this song in initial episodes alot. That's when I fell in lobe with these two...so ya..that song for me.

Even the Judai song was picturised well. Not that I want a judai of them now. Just loved those scenes.

Chalo one out of two aint' bad...no love for Jaise Mera tu?😆

Agree about Jeena Jeena...Samjhawaaan is great too but unlike Jeena Jeena, can't work on multiple situations as easily...so Jeena Jeena FTW

I loved Nazar Laaye as well but I don't think it can be brought back at this point if for nothing else but the simple reason that the DEPTH of the MaNan relationship has grown far more beyond the days of Nazar Laaye...

Jeena Jeena is the only song that fully signifies that depth for them right now while still being a great melody with this lilting soft poignancy to it that is perfect for them.

Jaise mera tu is good but JEENA JEENA IS SOMETHING ELSE. The simple hmmm hmmm is enough for me to turn into a fangirl.

They don't have to use Samjhawan. I'm asking for another feels wala scene like the samjhawan one and they can sue jeena jeena in the BG!

True.
The kind of emotions and connect these two songs make is not comparable to any other played on Manik Nandini.

Like seriously, Jeena Jeena is totally Manik song...how Nandini has shown him a way to live life and Jaisa Mera Tu was composed by them and most importantly it fits in where Manik and Nandini take each others battle as for their protective natures.

These songs take MaNan's relationship at a new level.

Off lately, the songs that are played do not suit MaNan...ufff... Judaiii and lahu muh lag gaya..were big let down.
