Dhruv is passive and very one-dimensional. He again is trying to blame it all on Manik and is not introspecting . The reason why Manik-Nandini clicked or started because Nandu called Manik out on his faults and suffocating him with the monster version she saw, hence forcing him to come out as real Manik.

With Dhruv , he is passive, a part of him needs validation, which is why Manik set him up to be the hero. Now with that realization Dhruv is pissed that all his hero act was created by Manik whereas he refuses to see the he also enabled it.
