I have a problem with the social campaign, I don't have a problem with MaNan.
If they were serious about the social campaign, they should have not trivialised it as such but they never were, it was more a MTV Splitsvilla promotion with some gimmicky trend thrown in.Despite Manik being mesmerised by Nandini, it was more on a shy, kind of context than a leching context, so from that point of view, it didnt come out jarring to me, atleast the first MaNan scene. The last MaNan scene was predated by a very proud Manik looking at his girl. And Cabir telling Manik that Nandini is "very very special" to which Manik readily agrees and surprises Cabir. He follows Nandini to comfort her and even tells her he came to see her because she has that special glow in her face. The MaNan scene is only jarring because of the social context in which it was placed and unfortunately MTV dropped the ball over here.

Campaign or no campaign, realistically speaking is there any heterosexual male in this world who could watch the woman he loves in a skimpy outfit and NOT want to kiss her? I really would worry about his testosterone levels if there was.. waise bhi men think about sex every 7 seconds or something as they say.. so I don't think it's that big a deal really.. it's not like he imposed himself on her or crossed a line or something..
