Chapter 1

Nandini gets up from her bed, she really has a headache, her past's dream never stops following her and she is having the same nightmare all night. She has sleepless night, she can't take rest, whenever she closes her eyes, she finds the same tall and black hat man standing in front of her and attempting to kill her. She couldn't stop thinking about her mother's murder. And she is guilty as she couldn't save her, when she could have.

The knock on the door made her come out of the thought. She looked over and finds Alia standing with a worried look. She and Alia though could be called as best friends but both share a sisterly bonding. Alia only knows about her past and she was the one and only person who has known her heartily.

"Nandini are you okay? You had the same nightmare right?" Alia asked entering the room, and sits on the bed, giving her a concern look. Alia knows about the nightmares, no doubt she could feel the emotions Nandini is feeling, after all she has also lost her mother like Nandini,

"Yes, Alia you are right, I can't understand how would I forget it and how would these nightmare will go?" Nandini said, irately, she had tried hard to forget all these and move on but she can't forget about it.

"Don't worry girl, everything will be alright." Alia said putting her hand on Nandini's shoulder assuring her.

"I don't know Alia, when?" Nandini said with a sigh. Alia shakes her head seeing Nandini hope less.

"Ok. Anyway now common we need to reach college, and it's already 8, we have only 1 hour you know." Alia said, glancing at the wall clock, on Nandini's room.

Nandini's room is really good, the bed with blue covers fitted perfectly in the middle of the room, the pink paints on the wall with splitter of white made the room more attractive, a study table on the corner of the room, with a desktop, and also a bed side window with pink curtains. The window gives a good view of the woods of the forest.

Nandini left to take a shower and Alia left to get ready, after freshening both headed downstairs of their house, ah, they share a single house, no not as a paying guest or anything but it was Alia's father, who insists both the girls to take a house for their own, if they wanted to live together. Though both girls had moved from Delhi to Mumbai, Alia's father as a rich businessman brought a house for both of them. Nandini from the last 4 years never thought herself as a girl who doesn't belong in the family, as she gets the same love and affection what Alia gets from her father.

They have the house of 4 bedrooms with one kitchen with a dining table and a big drawing hall, and 2 guest rooms. According to them the house is so big for two persons, so sometimes they spend weekends with their friends having parties. They have a gang of 8 people namely Manik, Dhruv, Navya, Cabir, Mukti and Abhimanyu. Not to forget Alia and Nandini.

Manik is a cool and arrogant one, the personality he has any girl would fall on his feet, but he never cared, to him only his friends matter and also his love, for whom he could go beyond limits. Though he loves the girl, but feels as if she has been little conservative. She is cool with her best friend only. But he loves her from the bottom of his heart and would do anything for her.

Dhruv is a sweet and innocent one; he always is a calm and cool guy. Though he and Manik are best friends they are totally opposite to each other, thus the reason they can handle each other and more importantly they understand each other. No one has seen them argue with each other once. Both have each other's shoulder when they needed each other most.

Mukti and Abhimanyu are dating each other and same in case of Cabir and Navya. But when it comes to Manik, Nandini and Dhruv, Alia. It actually is Manik and Nandini, Dhruv and Alia are secret daters but their friends think opposites like Nandini and Dhruv dating and Manik and Alia dating. Since, Dhruv and Nandini are seen with each other most and vice versa with Alia and Manik, so the gang thinks them likewise.
