As i already mentioned, I loved todays episode as well as your post.. There were lot of high points in the episode and after a long time Nandini was that same old Nandini i could connect with. But thats later.. Lets talk about Mukti getting that letter.. What an ambiguous letter.. Hopefully the present in canteen will atleast bring some closure.. at this point that letter was nothing but iterating same fact that abhimanyu left the hospital.. So i dont know how to take it.. We had so many hopes on that letter but anyways..

Dhruv - I liked him today.. See how easily he is being played by Panditji.. He doesnt know that the task level for Nandini was different from what he went through.. and see that justifies how he sided with Pandit instead of maanik yesterday.. atleast from his pov.. Oh he is being blinded from all sides.. While he thinks maanik is master mind and making fool of himself, i guess its his own insecurities thats making him blind.. He is at point of no return as maanik said in precap.. Its only some kind of shock thats going to bring him back.. Its hard to clear the curtains of doubt and thats what he is suffering.. He is doubting everything thats even remotely attached to Maanik.. Btw as expected that plan for his return was lame.. Him calling cabir as nothing but messenger.. Low blow.. he is projecting his feelings on cabir.. Since he is feeling that fab5 is maanik he is projecting that on cabir, while i get dhruv's perspective, i still cant help but feel bad for cabir.. Guess only cabir and maanik were the ones who were still hopeful of his return but i guess finally their bubbles will burst.. Looking forward to showdown because afterall its necessary for every member of fab5...

Pandit - Is he smarter than Nyo or what 😊 He knows exactly how to play Nandini.. he saw nandini questioning his methods yesterday infront of principal, and he brought back his weapon.. Amps angle.. Now amps is validating him, but little does she know whats really going on in that music classes.. She is telling Nandini to invite him for dinner.. If she really does, its to be seen but i am hoping for once Nandini doesnt.. But seeing her happy while talking to Amps was treat..That was in ages she was so happy, she deserved that break 😃

Manan - today was their day From Navya trying to separate them to Maanik trying to be there for Nandini to they together witnessing dhruv-cabir plan unfold.. All was too good.. Maanik is so good at his monster ways with Navya.. She is still so intimidated.. And he takes full advantage of that :) Loved Navya-Maanik interaction there.. The tone, dialogs were perfect..

Nandini talking to dhruv about the smoke filled room -- Now that was the dimension that i was missing in Nandini.. See I have never said she is not victim of harassment, bullying.. But its not the only thing that defines her.. She has started thinking about pandit's action since maanik pointed them out.. Atleast the other day they showed in that scene when Maanik and her both think about each others perspective.. But what was missing was she actually forming opinions, questioning what was happening to her since that scene.. This kind of followup was what i expected when I talked about it in last post.. I didnt want to assume that.. I needed to see that as a scene and today we got it.. Hopefully Nandini now will be able to see that it isnt just strict ways but more than that.. (i still believe that pandit is crossing limits as a man - touching students, locking them out in single room isnt acceptable.. And by that i dont mean rape or anything.. because thats not the only kind of harassment.. Its invading personal space and that he totally is doing)

As you pointed out i really really loved how she just gets up to go meet maanik as part of unplanned break.. Love how they show these small details.. Her lying abilities are getting better, sangat ka asar 😆 she easily tricked navya to go meet maanik but see how she finds the loophole in navya's oath 😊 And then comes another awaited moment.. She isnt just talking about hope or superstition.. She is explaining her fears.. Yeah thats what i needed to see.. We all have been assuming those, extrapolating those.. But today it was there... See this was kind of follow up of that car bonnet scene where she tells him that concert is all her hope.. I dont know if i am making any sense or not, but this is what i meant by execution not cutting it, not being flowing correctly.. Today it was there.. I just hope that continue with this.. because i am not here just to see some kind of romantic moment between them... I am here for the story as a whole too.. And when the moments are so well connected the moment becomes even more special.. So was it for todays episode.. See there were no words that could help Nandini's fears because maanik has been assuring her that there is nothing that could come between them and yet her heart fears things.. So he took help of that touch.. That moment was such a love.. I feel in love with them once more.. Not because it was just romantic but it had all this background.. Give me lots and lots of feels.. And it wasnt just caress.. He assured her that he is working on the plan, took her to share the plan that too respecting her fears, faith, belief..

Tomorrow's episode is going to be crucial as finally its time for maanik to accept the reality.. And for the first time, really really chose nandini over anyone else.. fight for her.. be it with his own buddy.. Because she is worth that fight.. Because she is his priority.. And she deserves it.. And ofcourse thats only going to help fab5 in general to grow and understand each other as well as meaning of friendship, love even better..

Pri!!!! Firstly...I'm still waiting for your response for today but but I shall reply to this in the meanwhile.
This episode greatly worked for me too because there were elements other than romance. There was this understanding that doesn't need eyes or ears...the healing power of the touch was explored once again, their hesitant-free ability to talk about their fears to each other was quite brilliant today too and that's what love is all about. It makes their love story so much more realistic.
Now let me mention a bit about nandini...I totally understand why you weren't able to connect with her because the cv's seem to accelerate her car and then kind of halt it all too suddenly and even send it in back gear abit which seems a little over the top at times. But I 'm glad you could finally connect with this nandini today. See I have been reading many posts about people saying that why is nandini being portrayed as such a weak character. But I disagree... she's the real fighter here. I understand their pov of how she's being bullied and harassed by panditji and is the victim in this case but you know despite all those things I still feel her inner strength is one of her biggest qualities. And it's not something which can shatter so easily. Maybe something we may see vulnerale to break when panditji's real intentions are exposed but that's because other elements that make her nandini murthy; such as the optimist to always hop, to trust everyone...all those will be seen shattering. Remember the time when manik called her a potato? that she's so soft and all...well she's just as determined and strong-willpowered from the inside. And hence everytime we see her forgetting about the real strengths she possess we feel a little cheated because she isn't exactly that. Although I feel that sometimes its natural to have those breakdowns because after she is so desperately in need for this hope to win that the feelings always get a little muddled up and your chest starts feeling all heavy which calls it for a few tears to weep. But maybe because every alternative day we've been seeing her breaking down, you were unable to connect and it felt like everything was just repeating a little.
But I'm glad today she was baclk and back with quite a bang. I was so proud of her when she questions dhruv about the smoke in the room and how he could still manage to sing. It was such an interesting way to ask the question because she was trying to find the answers to this riddle about panditji's intentions but at the same time she didn't make it look all so obvious and asked him in a way that he must have a really good control of his lungs in order to not be coughing with all that smoke and she would be able to learn it from him. And then when he answers her, I was so glad that chalo...another puzzle to be solved and another clue that daal mai kuch kaala hai.
Manik..oh manik. Such a great performer with his ability to express all the emotions that a human is capable of feeling. I smiled so wide when he tries to scare navya in th ebeginning of the episode. It's all part of his charm. And mind you...he may have learnt to control his anger a little bit, but to be able to fake that monsterous side so well...ot's a gift and it works 😆
Apart from the unnecessary breaks we've had here and there on this journey...how brilliant has the growth be. And I simply love when we get to witness a scene which portrays this growth so well. I exceptionally loved when he was finding her reaoning about closing the eys all bullshit and senseless and yet he dare not to turn around. He stood with his back turned and even when he turns to console her, ta-da...the eyes were closed. The respect for each other, each other's beliefs... just amazing! And our Nandini...pours out every bit of it. Instead of crying, she goes and talks to the one who will definitely help her in finding the solution and help her in consoling her fears. She tells him with such ease, and just so bluntly that she wants to be able to sing for him, with him and he...he so pleasingly convinces her that I'm working on it. That moment when he holds her hands and a ray of light is shown shining, that's manan for you. When seperate...they may be vulnerable to be engulfed by darkness, they may tend to feel doubts but when together, the liight of optimism has to shine. No room for darkness or any hopeless thoughts.
Lastly, I'm going to just quickly mention about dhruv and how there plan played out. Yup so like you and I had agreed...no plan is going to work. The more manik tries to bind him and plan things in order to bring him back, the more this whole situation will fall apart. And you know what, the biggest example here is nandini and panditji. We've seen him force her to practice, try and bind her to his ways of teachings and she's rebelled against it all...she's disagreed with every action. She's rebuked him that no she can't rehearse like this. But now...he's backing off a little because nyonik has told him to approach her with a little softer approach. And so he's giving her the air to breathe, the freedom to do a mistake but he won't yell, scream or punish her and she seems to be able to performa and concentrate in class. If only manik could see this. (I'm actually really impatiently waiting for your thoughts on today's episode because I have a new perception of manik I need to share with you). But anyway...so yes, I quite liked dhruv today except for the obvious fact that what he did to cabir was totally unacceptable for me. And I already mentioned it in another post to preesha and you've mentioned it here too so I won't repeat but yes cabir had somewhat hopes too for his return but they may no longer exist after today.
I'm actually glad that yet again dhruv shocked everyone with another stin gof his painful words because all this will help manik take the final decision as to how he wants to go abouts fighting for nandini this time. I don't see him having both nandini and dhruv back in his life just yet and he will need to pick one. So all these situations will hopefully make the choosing process easier for him.
Alrightey...I think I should stop here because this already got a bit too lengthy. Will see you soon! :)

Well hello beautiful ! I love how you take a concept and put together an analysis and tie in all important components of the episode..like how lady ? today was just as amazing. Promises are really significant for Manan's relationship and i am glad you chose to explore today's episode with the concept of promises.

Nandini and her promises. Her promises are always the humesha wala promises. And she never ever breaks a promise. She promised to always shine for him. She promised she won't let the darkness ever engulf him. She promised to always find him whenever he gets lost. She promised to be his strength whenever he weakens. Yesterday, he was her strength. Today, she must become his strength. That's the beauty of their love. They will always be each others strength.

They have lost the sense of sight. But they don't need to see each other through their eyes. They can already read each other's heart. Even with closed eyes, she can see his pain. She feels the pain, his pain like a stab to her heart. She reaches out and soothes away his lines of his forehead. The tell tale of his worry. Her fingers are the healing balm. My beautiful moment ! She touches, she soothes. She touches, she heals. She touches his heart, feels his heartbeat and wants to absorb all his pain. But she knows, somewhere deep down she knows that she can't fully heal this hurt, this pain her Manik is suffering. That pain will only go away if his buddy comes home, when they will once again be Fab 5.

She promised to always protect him. She promised to be his courage. If he is her alpha lion then she is his lioness. He refuses to let harm touch her. She refuses to let his heart get hurt. She promised to fight for him. And today she will fight ! She will demand to know what her Manik has done to Dhruv to deserve this indifference ? She wants to know the reasons for this misplaced hatred. She demands to know why Dhruv is hurting her Manik. And she will tell Dhruv just how much Manik loves him, that he even sacrificed her for his buddy ! She will tell him just how selfless her Manik is. She will demand that Dhruv appreciates the love her Mani gives so easily. Did Manik want Dhruv to know the truth ? No. Does she regret being honest ? No, she regrets upsetting Manik but she revealed the truth in a attempt to get Dhruv to see right, to appreciate the love he keeps kicking away. So no, she doesn't regret her actions.

The truth is revealed, the time may have been right. Dhruv wasn't in the right state of mind to appreciate Manik's gesture. It actually further pushes his insecurities forward. He can never be good enough to get a girl on his own ! That makes a man bitter, when he feels there is nothing in him for a girl to want him. But the truth no matter how bitter is better than a sweet lie. And it's about time this truth is out.

Manik's sacrifice caused so many hardships for Manik and Nandini's relationship. They fought a uphill battle from that point in their relationship. That sacrifice, deep down it still hurts her. That sacrifice still instills fear in her, fear of Manik picking Fab 4 over her thou it shouldn't. Manik has learned, he has learned to balance his priorities. Is Manik upset with Nandini ? I would assume so. Are they going to have a little tiff? It's quite likely. And it shall help them, give them closure. To let the sacrifice go for once in for all.

And today Nandini gets insight in how fragile her Manik really is. His demeanour, his attitude, his words; they can all be misleading at times. But Manik Maltorta is a broken soul, who will always think less of himself. Who will feel like he isn't worthy. And today Nandini learns why Manik gave her up. Not because he loves his buddy very much but because he always believed he, he couldn't be good enough for her. That Nandini, the girl he was falling so hard for deserved a better man, a man like Dhruv. My heart broke for Manik today. He deserves to know that he is the man for his Nandini and I have faith that his Nandini will tell him just that. There was a reason the conversation between they boys happened in front of Nandini. Was she tempted to tell Manik right away that his thinking is wrong ? that they are prefect for each other ? Yes, but this is a conversation for them to have alone, not for a third person to hear. But this conversation is one they shall have.

I liked the thoughts you had on Nyionka and Pandit but i shall add mine when the scene takes place on Monday so more on them later.

Okies...this seems it for now. As always, you were perfection with your words and thoughts.

- Reya aka Your Sunny <3

Reya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can I just like...just like hug you right now??! Like you have no idea whatsoever how excited I am at this moment to write your response because you've voiced pretty much everything I need to say out and like our telethapic connection has once again been proven through this response. I was so tempted to just colour everything red here...especially the part when you started talking about the revelation of the sacrifice but I was like wait twinkie... don't get too excited lol Oh and I'd also like to warn you that this response may turn into quite a lengthy essay, so apologies beforehand. haha
Now where do i start...hmm I think the very first scene when my cabir was hurt and dhruv has yet again released those painful arrows. I already mentioned it in other posts that what dhruv did to cabir didn't go too well with me because cabir has been such a messiah for his friends, constantly trying to keep the fab5 together and today he was termed as just a messenger. But you know what, in all this harshness...there lays some positivity because dhruv here is taking his family for granted. The day they step down, and I know it'll be cabir now and when finally manik steps down, this hatred will transform into a realisation. Pri and I have been discussing infact that no plan is going to bring dhruv back. When he falls, and he gets hurt and see that there is absolutely no one to aid his wound and heal that pain, he will return. And honestly I don't think that dhruv will return during fusion concert...it seems way too early for now. And it may even seem all to rushed because we see no potential or hope of his return. In fact all hopeful ray of light seems to be vanishing. Fusion concert...it is more of Manan's day. Like manik and nandini have been saying "it'll be our day!" The day when the ultimate realisations of priorities will happen. Manik will choose nandini over dhruv because I feel there is still a 0.0000005% of him that is wavering. This track has really been such a treat for me, because on the day of the fusion concert. Manik will stand on that same crossroad. Dhruv or Nandini. And I know for a fact though, history won't repeat this time. No room for sacrifices this time. No seperation, no heart-aches this time. And I know for a fact this time, there will be no hesitancy from nandini's behalf of confessing her love, her feelings. Their long-awaited kiss. It will all be a celebration.
Now retunring to the episode... like you said, Nandini soothed his pain...healing every aching nerve, but she knew from the tremble in his voice that no he wan't okay. Hence she asks "are you sure?" and just like him, she needs no eyesight to know that her manik is in unbearable pain. And so she sets out on a mission to find some answers, to fill some sense into dhruv you're misunderstanding your own buddy. But our dhruv...the time hasn't quite come yet for him to see over himself and his own insecurities. It's too early and hence he didn't take this whole revelation too well.
Now onto my favourite bit of this episode, when manik enters and manruv have their conversation and that too in front of nandini. You know I want to mention something here first. So I've been reading alot of posts on the forum lately of people classifying nandini as a rather weak character. Someone who only seems to have the potential of crying when hurdles arise. But today, today for me, it seemed like I re-discovered manik and nandini. I've always known that nandini is strong. She's a fighter and we've seen that from the very first episode when she goes against fab5 to save shahid. Yes she has her days when she breaks down and freaks out completely but that doesn't take it away from her that she has so much strength inside her. And today was the day for the true manik to be dsicovered and understood by nandini and us as viewers.
Manik...always been the tough, strong, attitude-filled hottie of the college. His world-famous mask of a monster has been quite a big aid in keeping his real identity hidden. But today, the cards were layed. Who manik really is. What he actually thinks of himself to be. You know I can't help but refer to Nandini as being Manik's potato and Manik as being Nandini's monster. And yet...their personalities are much the opposite. Our Manik who's always portrayed hmself to be so strong is actually quite weak from the heart. And our Nandini, so small...so petitie, so soft and little...possesses a very very strong heart.
You know as different as their personalities and experience of life may be, they share one common connection. The loss of parents and family at a young age. This led to the both of them to realise their responsibilites, to understand life at quite a young age but just look at the two totally distinct perspectives these two hold. Our Manik...been almost cheated by life. A manipulative mother, a weak father. And hence a broken family. A dark life where there is no such thing as love, trust, light, smiles and relationships? That was just a word for him. His definition of relationships was a business deal. A give and take ideology. And hence he's always craved love. He's always yearned affection. These wounds we talk about. The ones we always bring up here and there in our responses... they are just recent. These wounds were only given to the heart. But what about his soul? His soul has been permanently wounded by the experiences of his childhood. In this lonely journey of life, his hatred, anger, darkness were his companians.
And then there's our Nandini. A small, such a close-knit and love-filled family. She lost her family in an unfortunate and uncontrolled event but she had the support of her extended family. Her ams, her chacha chachi. They kept her and rishab protected in the shield of their love and affection. Her chacha chachi, no less than parents for her. And hence her belief in god has always been unshakable. Her aiyappa has always been kind to her. Her family, her prayers have been her strength. Hope, light of positivity, love have been her weapons to fight this world. To always stand up for what's right has been the motto in life.
And when these two met...two such different individuals, two very opposite sort of thinkings, but they completed each other. His dark, lonely and painful life has gifted him with a gift of detecting any sort of danger around him. And hence, he is able to protect her under every circumstance. And she, her ability to shine so effortlessly, to spread love so unconditionally has allowed him to heal everytime his wounds have been scraped. Incomplete when two individuals, but complete when one soul. That's our Manan.
You're absolutely right when you say that it still aches for Nandini when she recalls back to that musicana night when so easily, manik called-off their un-named relationship and sacrificed her. It's actually a point to be noted when she says to dhruv that she doesn't say, he sacrificed his love, she says "he sacrificed me for you." Why? Because at that point, this love wasn't so strong, it wasn't so clear to be named as love. There were elements lacking. Like we talked about it in yesterday's post that love has so many definitions. And at that time they had hardly experienced two or three of them. Romance, passion and happiness. But many definitions were still unaware to them that this journey portrayed through this track has enabled them to experience. We say it pretty much in every post and I shall say it again that they have indeed come very far. And just look at it all... we seem to feel that they know each other inside out now, but nope. There is still room to learn more and this learning process will continue forever tbh.
So today our nandini learned something about her manik. Her manik, who claims to be so strong and tough...he's infact quite weak. Those wounds on his soul from his childhoos that are still bleeding, to her dismay...they haven't allowed for him to completely heal. She has been successful to heal many wounds, to sooth out every pain but these wounds still need attending and aid. I loved what you said that he didn't sacrifice his love because he loved dhruv, he sacrificed his love because he didn't think of himself to be worthy enough for her. Because he loved nandini more. His love compelled him to think and imagine the future and he thought that dhruv will infact be the key to all her happiness. He pushed her away from the darkness that still floats in him somewhere and he wanted to keep her away from his pain. I can;'t help but take mukhbi's relationshiip as an example here because that's exactly what abhi did for mukti. He wan'ed to keep all his pain within himself. And so he became selfish and went away. Exactly what my manik wanted to. Protect her from his own pain. Keep her away from the darkness that exists inside him. And today she could witness it all. She was trying to make dhruv realise how much manik loves him, instead she came upon a self-realisation of how much her manik loves her. He wants the best of her at every step of life.
This manik we see today, who claims he is working on it. Who is fighting this battle along with her to ensure their hope wins, this strength has only evolved ever since nandini came in his life. She filled his heart with enough strength to start beating again. Otherwise it had ceased a long time back. She introduced him to the power of love. To the beauty of this idea of hope.
Manik had always been scared of love, of relationships , of trusting. In fact he has experienced heartbreak all so many times that it had left him with no strength to fight for himself anymore. Don't get me wrong...he is strong, he does have strength but only enough to fight for his friends and nandini. But when it comes to fighting for himself, his happiness, his needs, his inner-strength gives up on him. All thanks to nyonika the witch. He's seen his friend cabir go through a hearbreak in love. I understand he never really loved Aliya but he had trusted her. And she broke that trust. And so more heartbreaks. More pain. I still remember that night scene before the night of musicana when manik fiunds out that dhruv loves nandini and he is sitting at home drowning himself in alcohol. Alcohol - a depressant! Many consume it during heartache, when they are broken so they can somewhat gather the courage to fight with their cirumstances. And he was doing exactly that. He was wealk and he was finding the courage to fight for himself and he did for some time because he went to visit nandini to hug her for one last time but that was the end of that strength's life. And I remember cabir coming to pay him a visit too and cabir trying to convince him that if it's true love, it can't be forgotten...and manik staying so stubborn that no. If you try hard enough, anything is possible. But just look at the irony. If he had tried fighting for his love, it oculd've been possible but he wan't able to. I'm not saying he was wrong, no. He sacrificed his love which takes courage. Definitely! But he didn't have it in him to fight against dhruv for nandini. And so he let her go. He was weak and we've constantly seen that when it comes to dhruv he does fall weaken. It's because dhruv was the first person he loved in his life. Dhruv's love makes him weak. Imagine a boy, so disturbed with his family's circumstances, totally shattered and confused with the workings of life...he found his first and only hope of life when he found dhruv. And hence we always have seen him protect dhruv so selflessly. Shower him with so much of unconditional love. Dhruv came in his life as love, as a brother, as family when manik had already slipped into darkness. And he would've gotten consumed wholely by this darkness if it wasn't for the love he had for dhruv.
Nandini's love on the other hand gives him strength. It gives him the power to fight with life, to fight for himself. Because that's nandini for us. She radiates love, positivity and life wherever she goes. Her loves makes him strong and he radiates that same strength onto her when she falls weak.
But the weakness he has for dhruv still makes him stumble in life every now and then. And this fusion concert he will realise that he must make his love for dhruv a strength too in order to balance out his life fully. He needs to understand that whilst dhruv may have been the first time he felt that essence of love, it's actually nandini's love which makes him feel so alive and that he needs her love in order fight for dhruv at this point too. He can't fall weak and the only way for that to happen is if he recognises the strength of nandini's love.
Quickly just touching on the bit you said that will they have a tiff and there was a reason why dhruv's and manik's conversation took in place of her. Firstly, hats off for bringing those two ideas up... such a genius i swear! Of course they'[re going to have their little stubborn moment again. And I'm trusting it to be the last major one before fusion concert. They're finally there... finally gaining every sense of closure possible, it's just these last few steps remaining. I'm so glad nandini heard every bit how manik doesn't consider himself worthy of her because now her fight will accelerate to the last gear. She will make him realise that for her, it was always him. His imperfections are what made him so perfect and worth-fighting for. I don't want to talk too much about it now because I know that scene will be something out of this world and I'm eagerly waiting for it.
Ummm okay... so like I think I'm done and this went on for way too much than I had comprehnded. So sorry you're going to have read so much all over again lol But I just couldn't stop myself and when you end up writing such beautfiully and flawlessly enlightening pieces, your twinkie just gets carried away.
I shall talk to you soon my love!
Love you

forgive me if this isn't up to my normal standard, Manik disppointed me today. Hopefully when you get the chance you can let me know your thoughts so I can understand from another point of view. Reya you too 😳

The first scene was just beautiful, not forgetting the kasam they both close their eyes and communicate. Actually nothing was even needed to be said because with Nandini's one touch Manik's pain decreased. Just like he did for her, she calmed him down. Stroking his face with her tiny hands, absorbing his pain and placing her hand on his heart. The dilemma of leaving him when she knew he needed her more then ever but him
giving her the reassurance that he'll be ok.
I felt for Cabir, this poor guy. I understand the anger Dhruv has for Manik but Cabir? What has Cabir ever done to him? That shot of them both sitting on the stairs in disbelief in how bad things have got was just perfect.

I'm so glad Nandini went chasing after Dhruv, finally someone gave him the talking he needed. The calmness as she tried to tell him how badly he's hurting Manik but when he doesn't listen she tells him straight what Manik has actually done for him!! Shock, horror it made no difference. He just found it to be another favour from Manik. Like seriously? When did Dhruv become so inconsiderate about someone else's feelings. He's digging himself into this hole were I don't see a way out for him at this moment in time.

Not going to lie Manik disappointed me! He knew how hurt Nandini was over the whole situation, doesn't he remember the punch in jungle? Doesn't he remember her words "I'm not a toy that you can pass around when you feel like it"
As she stands in front of them both they talk about her like she's just an object.
"Nandini kya, any girl would choose you, your the better guy" you see how low he still thinks of himself, how can he fight with Dhruv over a girl he's never thought he deserved!
"Manik's better"
She never wanted the better guy because you were always the good guy Manik but you just failed to recongise it but Nandini, she saw it! She never wanted to change you, you changed yourself.
He always put his friends before her, he called her irrelevant, he used to blame himself when he couldn't be there for his friends because he was with Nandini. How do you think she feels when he says this stuff? Yeah she's always known that fab 5 are the most important people in his life but where does that put her. The fear that's always been in the back of her mind that he will always choose his friends over her and today that fear probably came back.
Nandini needs to tell him exactly what she thinks of him, why he's the better guy, why she loves him the way he is and why if the choice came again and she had to choose between him and someone else it will always and only ever be him!
Maybe only then Manik will realise the importance of Nandini Murthy in his life.

Hey beautiful! So I finally get the chance to reply to this post. And please... your posts are always really welly put-together. You go in depth of Manan and their relationship and I'm always so glad because it makes discussing just that so much more intersting.
So I'll first quickly brush up on cabir and then we'll get to manan and dhruv. So yup...agreed, what dhruv did to cabir today was quite uncalled for. Cabir was the only person apart from Manik that had hope for Dhruv's return but I see his hope to drain down now too. And you know I'm glad that slowly cabir will back out, and manik will let go too and that's when dhruv's realisation process will start. See right now Dhruv can be described as sand, the more you'll try to hold onto him, the moe he'll slip away and so it's just better to let him go. He wants to stand on his feet and I believe they should let him do that... he'll fall, he'll get hurt and that's when you realise the importance of friends and family tbh. When you get lonely. And if they let him go, it doesn't mean they'll stop loving him. No. He just wants that freedom and when he realises that it wasn't freedom, it was isolation what he was demanding, he'll come back to his family and they will all welcome him with open arms.
Now onto manan, the sacrifice revelation and dhruv. Agree with you...Nandini was the star of today's show! She left him because he assured he'll be okay but she went to fight his battle. She went to ask those questions that manik isn't able to quite ask dhruv. I'm going to try my best to any many of your questions here and this will get quite lengthy but but also I'd like it if you read the response I gave to Reya last night. It was veryyy long, but it talks about manik for me. What I felt about him. Why I liked/disliked him and why he is the way he's been portrayed. That's all my thought though and so if you have more thoughts, feel free to write about them here lovely and we can continue enlightening each other :)
So I read your response to me and to reya and I think you pointed out that what was the reason that manik went to apologise to nandini after the breakup? Was it because sorry for causing her the pain? Or was he because he actually loved her? See my definition of manik's love is a little different. I see one of the reasons that he sacrificed his love was because he loved nandini. Like Reay said, it wasn't because he loved dhruv more, no. But he just didn't have the courage to fight for himself (Okay so yeh you'll need to read my response to reya when I talk about courage and manik's strength because I've explained all of that there.and I'm sure people don't want to read it again from me haha ) So going back to the two questions... well see that situation there were actually 2 factors as to why he went back to nandini. One, because dhruv said he will move on. And two, because Nandini had declined dhruv's proposal and along with that she dini't want him to keep any hope for their relationship because she never saw her future with dhruv. For nandini it was always manik.
I like to think of Nandini as a one-man girl. She has this deep faith in her aiyappa and recently we have also seen her talk about faith, destiny etc. For nandini, ever since the beginning, her aiyappa, her fireflies and hence her destiny and faith have always assured her that it was always manik for her. And so she was beyond sure that she can never fall in love again with someone. So I reckon even if dhruv hadn't decided to move on, manan would have still come together because nandini would have never given a chance to dhruv.
Now I'm not saying what manik did was wrong, nope. And I don't think every action of his can be justified, not at all. Even now...I do have some issues with him like why can't him and nandini fight for dhruv togther. Why is he still considering it to be his fight alone? Just last week he gave nandini a chance to fight for his other friend; mukti so why can't he do that again. But then I guess this is what this track is all about. Manik and his prioritiies. And by all means he's half way there, he's said to her already that this time no sacrifices. But he will need to choose between the two of them because this time he can't have the both together. Honestly, I said it to Reya too that I don't see Dhruv coming back to Fab5 just yet. In yesterday's episode Nandini has left dhruv with a question that if you were in manik's place, wouldn't you have dont the same...and I have a feeling that this time Dhruv will back out from the concert but only to settle the scores with Manik. Kind of like the repayment for his ehsaan. You know if we think back to that new year's eve when Manik confesses that he will choose his friends because he has to protect them and fight for them... And he asks that he needs her to protect him. He needs her to fight for him. Because he's too weak to fight for himself. And she did exactly that yesterday. She fought his battle. And next week she'll do it again. She'll fight with him to tell make him realise that no she wants and needs him and only him. She will fill him with the strength and assure him that he was the one always for her and after that I feel he will find the strength to fight for himself, fight for their relationship.
I'm sorry if some of this didn't make sense but yeh alot of the things are in the reply I gave to reya. Hope I was able to answer to your concerns and by all means I look forward to see if you still feel detached from Manik.
See you around babe!
Love

Love you

You wont believe, but i watched the episode again and i liked it... May be i was in different zone on friday when i watched it, but today i really liked it... So thank you for making me write this reply, because i ended up loving this episode..

Another of maanik's stupid plan fails🤣.. No wonder dhruv thinks about all this as distraction.. Think it from his perspective, both the times he had to step out of his class to attend to fake crisis fab5 member was supposedly going through.. So his statement about maanik trying to distract him from the class seems valid from his pov.. and i already said this yesterday, i think from his perspective him bursting out on Cabir totally makes sense.. but its just too sad as a viewer, isnt it.. Because we know the whole picture that dhruv isnt seeing.. But then thats what it is... being blinded by rage, jealousy, inferiority.. he is pushing everyone away.. Cabir and Maanik both looked so hurt and thats the thing right, while cabir was already on fence with this plan, now he would totally get that Dhruv has changed.. (and should be, because if he is not then i would be upset with the portrayal of his character too)

Nandini returning the calmness through the same touch therapy as Maanik.. They have now started to communicate with each other without words.. And thats such an evolution since Soha mess.. They are learning and this time apart fighting for each other and with each other has helped them do that.. This is the growth i keep talking about that i want to see.. Its a subtle way of showing that growth and loved it.. And not just that hand tracing which off course was love, but even after the call to return to class room, how she hesitates because she knows he is disturbed, while he assures her to go because she needs to.. And only when he assures her that he is ok she leaves.. But not just like that.. She sees the pain that cabir is going through.. Tells him where maanik is.. Because these both friends took huge blow on their age old friendship and may be they both can help each other.. She is that shining star as maanik needs her.. Thats their thing isnt it.. Their protection towards each other in the moment of weakness..

Cabir and maanik sitting resigned on the steps.. I dont know how many times now i have mentioned, Fab5 frienship was stagnant and they didnt learn how to deal with it.. How to be friends other needs as they grew.. Because no one was there to teach them.. But now they are learning.. These new experiences.. they are teaching them.. they will face pain in the process, but isnt that part of the learning too.. You have to be able to deal with these issues.. Friendship doesnt mean being goody goody with each other all the time.. Infact how can that be friendship.. its only whom you are close to, you can fight.. and thats what they will learn.. But thats furture.. today they are hurt with the words their friend uttered.. he termed one as messenger and other as jealous.. They dont have words to express their hurt so they are just there in each others company finally trying to grasp the fact that he is not coming back..

see while dhruv is going even further away from fab5, here mukti and alya are bonding big time.. they both have lost someone they love.. and they are there for each other.. While finally mukti has her answers, and finally she is learnt her lessons.. I was wondering why that letter was so important for her realizations.. And now i have my answers.. The letter as such didnt have anything we/mukti didnt know about(and so disappointing in last episode).. It was the gift that was important to be honest.. it told her that abhimanyu didnt just leave her.. He left her with something to remember by.. He doesnt want her to forget him because he is dead or it is painful.. He wants her to remember him.. All those beautiful moments they spent.. he wants her to remember to smile.. I keep wondering why would abhimanyu leave? It is because on that holi day he realised he is holding her back.. She wouldnt live these 6 months to fullest just because she needs to be with him.. he always wanted her to smile, and live her life.. And thats the time I think he realised he has to step away.. He might hurt her but the moments they spent will be enough for her.. but the thing is Mukti doesnt take well to abandonment does she.. Blame it to her past.. She knows only one way to deal with it.. And thats what she did.. But this time it was different.. Because this time it didnt help her get over it.. And add to it the whole drama of rocky and his politician brother.. She finally saw her friends being there for her.. It all helped her grown up.. it was abhi's love, it was her way of dealing with the heartbreak, it was her friends.. Everything together has made her one strong person.. Now this new gift was kind of closure for her love story.. She thinks she might not be able to feel same way for another person, that might be true.. But each relationship in different situation is different.. I am sure one day she will have another love because life without partner thats just plain boring.. She will learn that too.. But there is time for that.. today she can atleast move on.. Be happy with her own life.. treasure it.. deal with it in better way.. Btw isnt it great to see how alya understands and talks about true love.. The true love that mukti gets to experience.. It is said, the value of anything is more to the person who doesnt have it.. Thats alya.. She has been so unlucky so far.. But see how she doesnt let that get into their conversation because she knows mukti doesnt need that at this point.. there will be time when she will need to unveil her burdens but its not today.. They are learning to be better friends and doing great job at it..

Ok this whole cabir-navya thing is not entertaining me any more.. Its being too dragged so i am not even going to go there.. Just dont feel like talking about it.. They are stretching it even further looks like... And i cant help but just shut myself out of that.. We both had discussed how their frienship could have been such a great thing to show, but in the process of making it comic, they have gone too far and streched too far..

Now back to Nandini-dhruv-maanik.. She picked up battles for maanik when he seemed resigned, sad.. Loved the conversation between Nandini and dhruv.. while dhruv doesnt want to listen to her, but she is making efforts.. She is trying to show him how he cares for fab4.. And he cant run away from them.. I loved how the conversation about that sacrifice thing came up.. it wasnt the first thing nandini talked.. It was only when dhruv couldnt still see maanik taking into account his feelings she revealed it.. She told him about it thinking it will show him how much maanik cares, loves him.. But she failed to realise its only going to make it worse.. And thats what happened.. Because now he thinks maanik is being great by sacrificing and its dhruv's own inferiority complex that makes him believe that everyone thinks he is weak.. Esp maanik.. Maanik's explanation brought up the true issue in this whole thing.. He told him that it was his first love.. It was first time dhruv expressed his own wish.. See thats the thing.. Dhruv has always been the shy one.. He never expressed what he wants and that has led to this mess.. Thats one of the reason of his insecurity about himself and inferior feeling.. Thats what he needs to understand.. which hopefully eventually he will.. But it wasnt the only issue, was it.. Its maanik's way of handling things too.. All dhruv wants is fair fight, so that he feels equal.. But the truth is they both have their own inferiority complex to fight.. Maanik's sacrifice had so many angles.. because not only it was dhruv who was like his brother, but it was also him feeling inferior to dhruv's goodness.. Nandini has witnessed this, so hopefully next scene will deal with them talking about this.. and i need to see this to maintain continuity.. It might be hard for dhruv to understand from maanik's perspective, because all he can think is, maanik is again taking something away from him by this whole sacrifice act... Cant tell you how much i appreciate nandini in this scene.. She brought up the point, she felt guilty for bringing this sacrifice thing up when it only started making problem worse, yet she gave space to both of them to talk with each other.. But once she saw them in deadlock with the talk, she stepped up and brought up the valid and important point.. Wouldnt dhruv do same thing for maanik.. I am sure this is what dhruv will have to think about.. This will bring in the first break into his blind rage..

Want to tell you, when i saw this scene on friday all i could think is why is maanik justifying his sacrifice.. But today i dont see it like that.. friday i felt like maanik who talked about no sacrifice, and choosing nandini is not there, he is same maanik who actually didnt understand what nandini was trying to tell him when she punched him for that musicana thing.. But today i dont see it that way... I think he wasnt giving up on nandini.. He was just trying to make dhruv understand why he did what he did, especially since nandini brought up the whole sacrifice thing up.. But he also brought up his own inferiority infront of nandini.. And somehow i have a feeling this will loop back to his valentine day breakup talk.. It wasnt nyonika and his manipulation that hurt him.. It was nandini thinking he could kill someone (while that is true - which he didnt realise then - and i am not sure if he understands even now or not).. feeling of being unworthy in her eyes.. todays confrontation will open up (if executed properly) valid dialog between them.. Another meaning of love.. You dont stop loving the person because they have flaws.. Its accepting person in spite of their flaws.. So how much ever you might think yourself as unworthy, if person infront of you loves you.. that person loves you with those flaws.. and nothing, not even better person is the reason that should be reason for a breakup.. So lets see what monday brings us..

Love

HAPPY EASTER TO YOU ALL!! (If you celebrate it 😆 )
So as soon as I saw your replies it was a must for me to reply to your post, such a busy weekend with family I've not had a chance to read everything properly, so if I miss parts out.. sorryyy!! Such an in-depth reply, so much to talk about! I've read your response to Reya too. But I'm typing this all from my phone so excuse any spelling mistakes or if it don't make sense in some parts, forgive me 😳

Firstly I have to thank you for always being so kind and for appreciating my words, honestly it means a lot. I've never written about a desi TV shows couple. MaNan are my first! I have to thank you of course because if it wasn't your mind vs heart post I would of never realised how attached I was to them.

They are the most unique couple ever, you relate to them, you feel upset when they're upset, your happy when they are and then you get protective over them. They became our babies, we've watched them grow and become who they are now and it has been an amazing journey. CVs have done a marvelous job, PaNi have been nothing but awesome. We can never thank them enough for giving us MaNan. You mentioned in your reply how you have to hand it to cvs when they bring new ideas on how they romance or communicate and I couldn't agree more, if you saw this on any other couple it would be cringe or uncomfortable to watch but with them it just makes you love them more, anything they do suits them. They just have this way of portraying these emotions/scenes. Ugh I could go on but I don't think they'll ever realise how good they actually are and why we love them so much!!!!

I loved the way you described Dhruv, the sand comparison was just on point! It's exactly what he is like at the minute, anything anyone says to him at the minute just won't register. So if everyone backs off and leaves him too it. Maybe then the realization of being alone might have some kind of an effect. I second that thought, as soon as Nandini said to him "would you be able to sacrifice as much as Manik has" the thought came into my mind that he might do the same thing at the concert just to prove a point! Whatever Manik can do I can do too kind of thing.

Dhruv saved Manik's life, no one has ever gone to that extreme for Manik. Manik's always learned the give/take way. So when his buddy saves his life, how can one repay him? He can't. The reason why Manik will always think highly of Dhruv, made Dhruv the better guy, protected Dhruv was because of this. Dhruv can push his buttons as much as he wants, Manik won't snap. He won't allow himself too, Dhruv was the only one who cared for him for so long so can he stop caring even if Dhruv says he has. The moment Dhruv does something nasty, nerve hitting is the moment Manik will fight back and forget this debt. The person who Manik won't tolerate a bad word about, none other then our Nandini Murthy. One attack at Nandini, the moment Manik Malhotra snaps!!!!

I didn't realise how deep Manik's insecurities were because of Nandini. Yes I knew he always felt he wasn't deserving of her but maybe not the extent in which your saying. Manik's never had the love from his parents, he got the love from his friends who became his family. He became a monster to hide his feelings, feelings he probably didn't realise existed. Then came Nandini, the girl who changed his life. Circumstances made him become considerate of someone else's feelings. She started effecting his life, as much as he tried fighting these feelings they became deeper and deeper. She became his life.
Nandini started showing Manik the other side of life. Bit by bit she started to set him free from his burdens that were so deep inside, she showed him that there is another side of life. He discovered the goodness that is in him, he becomes a kid, he experienced new things, he smiles, he laughs. He just became him, he doesn't have to hide himself with her. He doesn't have to change himself because she accepts him the way he is. She's not fearful of his anger, more then anything she's fearful of where his anger will put him. She protects him from himself! The moment when Manik learns to control his anger without Nandini interfering is the moment Manik will realise the depth of his love.
Never have I questioned his love for her and never will I. It is the most purest, beautiful thing ever. It's just that he hasn't realised it yet! Nandini knows where Manik stands in her life and what he means to her but him, no he's not there yet.
The only thing that can help him find his way is when Nandini finally tells him what she thinks of him(I mentioned this in my reply to Reya) Pre Musicana, he asked her "what do you think of me" she never told him, she told him what he wanted to hear. The humeshas. Nandini needs to tell Manik exactly how she feels, why she loves him for him, why he's the better guy and why it was always going to be him she'd choose.
Only then maybe Manik will start to realise the importance of Nandini, the kill theory can also play a part in Manik's realisation of how deep his feelings are for Nandini!

I understand that they're closing all loops from musicana because this fusion concert is a huge deal for them both. It's their new beginning which should start without any misunderstandings!

I didn't feel detached from Manik I just didn't agree with the way he went about some things. He looked upset/angry at the end. I can see him lashing out on Nandini for telling Dhruv about the sacrifice but why? Was Dhruv never meant to find out? I'm still in a double mind whether I agree about Manik being sorry for giving Nandini up or not. He hasn't apologised for giving her up but has for hurting her. Will he apologise or is that not needed now?
Your points have helped don't get me wrong! But I'm more confused now because my reply to your post has nothing to do with the reason why I made my argument about the whole sacrifice thing 🤣
This has to be the most confusing reply I've ever made, my points don't match my argument. I'm on a whole different track. Rather I'm talking about Manik's growth and what Nandini means to him and how he can realise the depth of his love 😕 HELP MEEE 🤣

(and should be, because if he is not then i would be upset with the portrayal of his character too) - Really good point actually. We've already discussed us that no plan is going to bring Dhruv back to Fab 5. I said it preesha even that he's like sand at the moment. The more they'll try to hold onto him, the more he'll slip away and more than anybody, Manik needs to realise that at this stage. I'm hoping for the same here too that Cabir steps back and even helps manik in realising that Dhruv has infact changed. I have really high hopes with tonight's episode... just praying they don't let us down because a Manan confrontation is obviously on the way, just hope it's executed well.

Nandini returning the calmness through the same touch therapy as Maanik.. They have now started to communicate with each other without words.. And thats such an evolution since Soha mess.. - They really have evolved so much as individuals as well as a couple because during previous tracks, they've been hiding so much from each other and the understanding has definitely lacked somewhere because they weren't able to communicate their thoughts openly but nowadays we've seen such fearless conversations, such beautiful scenes when they don't even need words to express their doubts and concerns to each other. I have to really give it to the CV's for developing this aspect of the story really well. They have shown that it's not always about the romance in a couple which can make them seem adorable, such deeps scenes like with eyes closed and even that scene when he sits her down on his car still remains such a beautiful scene close to my heart!

- I simply loved this paragraph of yours! Not going to add anything because it was simply beautiful in the way you describe friendship and Fab 5 in particuolar!

see while dhruv is going even further away from fab5, here mukti and alya are bonding big time.. they both have lost someone they love.. and they are there for each other.. - Very well written! You know as much I was impatient before for Mukti not getting that letter, I am so glad she got this letter now. She was too heartbroken at that time and like we had discussed, she was back to being the old reckless and careless being so I feel she wouldn't have understood the worth of that letter. But I like how they wrapped up mukhbi's track! He left but not as her weakness...he's left but has left after becoming her strenght. Her friends and now this letter has helped her grow so much as an individual, and it's a permanent change which I'm so glad about. - I'm quite liking these two girls bonding these days and especially the way aliya is supporting her. I feel in a way this seperation is good for Aliya too because at one point she was taking her relationship with him for granted and she wasn't as such understanding what she wants from life or this relationship as a whole. I feel treading on this journey with mukti, she will gradually realise the importance of relationships, the importance of need rather than want in a relationship and like you said, she's doing everything possible to cheer mukti up and making sure she doesn't fall alone anywhere on this journey. And when the time comes, I know mutki will do the same.

- DITTO!! I need to see some sort of progress especially from navya's side because I feel she hasn't conversed enough with her mum in terms of this pregnancy as such and I feel a little detached from her these days because I feel she still isn't clear as to what she feels with this baby. She should be feeling a connection with this baby now and envisioning about her life ahead but I don't seem to see that right now which makes me go where are they heading with this

- I really really really loved Nandini on friday. The strength, that adamancy to go and question dhruv oh just pure brilliant! And you know, just like you said she respected their space when Manik and Dhruv were talking but again when she felt Manik's ship sinking, she tigthened the sail! This is who nandini murthy is. Our fearless fighter. The one who can not only fight with Manik when time comes but also fight for him. I really liked what you said about Dhruv wanting an equal chance. That's the reason why Manik's plans don't work and they won't because everytime he plans something, Dhruv feels that Manik thinks he is incapable of fighting for himself alone. They are both correct in their own spaces but Manik needs to realise that his brother wants to learn how to walk by himself now. It doesn't mean he has to give upto him. No. He should stay there like a shadow, but he should let him experience that whole essence of falling and then rising again. Dhruv just wants that one chance tbh.

- I have a lot of hopes with tonight's episode especially with Nandini's character. If all goes well, we know Manik will express his rage as to why she revealed the sacrifice waali baat. But I want to be able to witness the same Nandini as the one we had on Friday. The one who will fight with him for him. The one who will not weaken once he expressed his frustration, but the one who will heal that broken hurt because his brother has seemed to distant from him even more now and the one who will refuse to leave his side without telling him that he was always the one for her.

Loved, loved, loved reading your response! So glad your wrote it hehe!

DAY 31! - Uninvited!

Uninvited.

Definition 1: (of a person) arriving somewhere or acting without having been asked.

Let alone knowing this individual, they weren't even aware of his existence. Absolutely clueless in regards his identity. Yet he barged into their loud conversation. How? Why? When? For what? He knows so little about the both of them yet it was more than enough for him to know they were in need of someone like him and most importantly he was in need for someone like them. Sunny Sharma his name, and to gain fame from acting is the game. His visit in Cabir and Navya's life seems too hassled, too rushed. Wordlessly they stared at each other, contemplating whether to take another player on board. The deal looks tempting, the plan looks promising but as Nyonika said; "How I wish ke life iss puzzle ke tarhan simple hoti." Time shall reveal whether his arrival will add an extra pair of helping hands to the current, messy situation or whether too many cooks will spoil the broth.

Another unforeseen visit. An almost startling encounter. He had walked out of her life on his own wish, and he now returns at her doorsteps at his own will. His exit from their family, from her life, from her heart. Something she had never envisioned to be so sudden, to be so unexpected. Yet he stood before her today, expecting to be welcomed with concerned eyes. Expecting that she will melt upon seeing his tear-filled, grieving eyes. Expecting that she would absolutely skip and erase the memory of the time when she also helplessly begged and mourned for him to listen to her once, and he unheard every plea of hers. Expecting her to reach out and caress his heart that he claims to have been wounded incredibly today, when her heart remains unhealed itself. Expecting that she would gather him in her arms as he feels completely shattered today. So many expectations amidst an unexpected exit and an unexpected return. Yet she listened. Yet she absorbed. Yet she couldn't ignore his complete devastating and defeated soul. Has his heart finally realised its mistake? Perhaps, she considered. Has there been a revelation which may strengthen the return of his hope? Possibly, she reflected. But his reasons were yet again surprising, unpredicted. The answers she had expected, they vanished in the dark night surrounding them.

He has fallen today. The soul seems to be injured. It's bleeding too. And he has somehow managed to crawl to his once-upon-a-friend in need of a dressing. In need of some consolation. In need of some urgent attention. Yet the reason behind this need doesn't seem to convince her. "Yeh hi difference hai tumhare aur Manik ke beech main."

There was once a time, when he answered to her needs in a rather unexpectedly harsh tone. The tables seemed to have turned today. In the hopeful need of a dressing, the wound may have just gotten deeper. He expressed how she seemed to be his only life-saving shore tonight. But no hope remains today from her behalf. And instead a question remains, is this the dark dead end which will engulf his soul completely and all hoped of his return will be lost? Or is this the hopeful end of the tunnel where a lamp post awaits his attention in order to enlighten him with a new self-realisation?

Some guests can be described as invited, yet technically uninvited. We usually title such individuals as self-invited. His self-confidence seems to be increasing. The adamancy of claiming his rightfulness upon Nandini seems to be rising. A characteristic trait which is portraying him as rather unpleasant. If I were to be precise I would quote my darling chachi "Mujhe na...yeh panditji hi koi galat lagta hai". The witch seems to be his guru in this unfaithful game nowadays, and so he is regarding her every word of advice. Little does he know that she's not the most powerful of them all. The real master of this game he hasn't had the good fortune of facing yet. And we can only pray that he amends his revolting actions in order to stay hidden from the real monster's eyes. Mr Monster Manik Malhotra.

Uninvited.

Definition 2: (of a thought or act) involuntary or unwarranted.

She fought for him - fair enough, acceptable. She fought for his friendship - courageous, conventional. But she revealed a secret without his consent - fairly unexpected. The outcome of that revelation - uninvited.

"Tum mujhe impulsive kehti ho. Par joh tumne kiya woh?'

The revelation itself wasn't something he was startled about. The timing she picked for the disclosure of this secret came around to him as unexpected, uncalled for. And the explosion that soon followed from the opposition party was the uninvited ending. I say ending because the last of his hope; "the one chance", he believed to have had, seems to be slipping from his grip now. I say ending because once again he sits with his eyes closed, defeated, completely overlooking the throbbing pain of his own heart and instead blaming himself for the wrong-doings of his brother. I say ending because whilst his brother had claimed to have disowned him a long time back, the ultimate reality of his departure has hit him today. The intensity of his hatred would peak to such an extent is something Manik had never expected. The degree of misunderstanding between the two brothers would escalate to such a level, is something he had never even anticipated in his dreams.

But when there is pain, there is always a cure. Because when there is Nandini, Manik has nothing to fear. She knew that a part of her was responsible for this devastated Manik sitting in front of her. She understood the importance of this friendship, this brotherhood in his life and hence the effect this crumbling relationship is having on his soul. She could recognise the silent cries of the aching heart as he spoke in his guilty tone. And hence she saw the need for her to fill him with her words of reassurance. She saw the need of her healing touch to dislocate all the pain and worry from his heart. She saw the need for her to become his strength, his shining star and assure him that he doesn't have to take it upon himself every time there is a heart break. That she's there to help him fight his battles with him. She saw the need to evacuate this uninvited negativity and infuse some unexpected words of love, positivity and care in his consciousness.

"Manik, there's no one better than you"

"Kiske liye?"

"Mer liye"

Who says that uninvited guests, thoughts and actions can only be problem-causing? Can only spread negativity? A hint of positivity lies in every negative aspect of the life and this idea was yet again proved by his Nandini today.

Chachi seems to have provided another unbeatable evidence to support this hypothesis of Nandini. She was quite disappointed with the arrival of this uninvited being in the house today. Her heart feeling no essence of excitement upon the formality of gifts he gifted them with. Her mood and perception of him, further diminishing as this teacher confesses that her utmost favourite; Manik, is no longer part of this long-awaited fusion concert. But if uninvited guests have the power to astonish the family in charge of hospitality, unforeseen thoughts hold the authority to uplift the monotonous mood of an unexciting evening.

"Ab joh bhi tujhe aur manik ko alag karega, who galat hi hoga na?"

They say that those who've experienced love can recognise its essence before two lovers even realise its existence. And that's quite aptly what their love story has always been about. An uninvited confrontation, an unexpected attraction, an unexperienced feeling, and an unpredicted love story.

It's not necessary however that if one uninvited thought was a pleasant surprise; every following thought will follow the same pattern. Many thoughts and actions like to follow the old rules book. Many never learn from their mistakes of providing unnecessary advices.

"Nyonika...I'm not in the mood to learn life lessons from you."

However, it's also true that we must never absolutely ignore all that is being said or done around us. Because on many instances, we may be able to deduce hidden inferences and discover unexpected clues that our opposing team may leave behind.

Her overconfidence once again caused a blunder to occur from her hands. The two love birds that she stands so stubborn to separate, will find themselves closer in tomorrow's night when he will once again ring the doorbell of her frequently-visited home and invite himself to be the second uninvited guest of the evening. But this uninvited guest will come as the shield of protection for her because "Pandit is definitely into Nandini...tabhi to uske ghar jaa raha hai."

Be it an uninvited pleasant visit, or an uninvited horrific experience, every uninvited occurrence has a specific need. Need. Such a small, yet complicated four-letter word. Every individual, every couple, every relationship has its own assigned needs. The examples lay in front of our own eyes. Manik and Nandini are in need of this hope's victory at this stage. But it's needless to say that their most urgent need is for them to be able to see each other. Dhruv is demanding the need of some closure. The need to prove to himself that he is capable of fighting and surviving in this fierce world. Aliya and Mukti's needs are quite similar to each other's. The simple need of some joyous moments. Of some peace from the frenzied lives they've both have had the experience of tasting. Nyonika's need is for darkness and aggression to remain as Manik's companions. And Panditji's needs are for his distasteful intentions to triumph on the day of this fusion concert. But just like there's a limit to every aspect of life. Need has a certain boundary too. When a need exceeds its boundary and becomes blinded by the desire to achieve a certain goal; we name it a want. And when a certain want overpowers our mind and heart, uninvited guests are bound to arrive.

She fought his battle today, he'll fight hers tomorrow. An uninvited learning awaits the uninvited devil who is seated in the home of his love; that it's not uncommon for friends to arrive uninvited. It's in fact the uninvited arrival of a teacher to his student's home which is quite unpredictable and unacceptable.
