When she said she's with him, he let go. And was emptied of all of the burden, all that shock.
And i guess that's why that beautiful scene we got of theirs on the bench, was thehraav, stability... She made his world stop spinning so much and just let him be. And he put hope in hers..

Now, he'll get angry because of the pandit thing and dhruv. Now he'll fight back too.

At least, that's how i read the scene :)
