"Nandu..!" Chachi broke my train of thoughts..
"Haa Chachi?"
"Manik ko andar lija ke zara fresh toh kra aa." FRESH?
"Fresh? Bt Chachi woh abhi abhi toh.."
"Bas Nandu, kuch nahi sunna meine.. Jao Manik beta, upar jao."
"Ji Chachi.." Manik honestly obeys her and walks into my room... Hello? Room kiska hai? MERA Marzi kiski chalegi? MERI! Aur Manik kiska- Chahe jiska bhi ho he can't walk into my room like that! Oh crap! Meine woh cheez toh sambhali hi nahi.

1:30 am in d morning
"Manikkk..." I snatch my DIARY away from him.. Crap ya! Why Nandini? Why couldn't you for once, once! Put your things back in place.. This is so not good.. Manik ne agar ye padh li toh meri be izzati pkka.. For I dnt knw how many YEARS..
"Arre Nandu, show it to me naa.." He snatchs it back..
"Why do u wnna read it.. ? Pls waapis do.."
"I wanna read it bcozzz.."
"Bcoz?" I raise an eyebrow.. ahaan, caught again!
"Bcoz I just wnna read it.." He runs around the room... I hit my leg against the bed and fall downnn.. He rans beside me and takes my leg in his hands.. "Are you alright, Nandini?"
"Manik.."
"Hmmm?"
"Bana dia na ullu!" I ran up again and take my diary from where he had kept.. The bed.. He runs behind me.. "Maan lo, Mr. Manik Malhotra, tumhe bhi bahaut se log ullu bana skte hai.. K?"
"Shutt upp.. Diary do.."
"Kyu du? On top of that.. tumhe pdhni kyu hai?"
"Tumse matlab? Just give me.."
"Jao na Manik.. why do u even wanna read it..?"
"Pls naaa.."
"Ok chalo we'll make a deal.."
"What 'deal'?"
"You'll tell me a PROPER reason WHY you wanna read MY diary. If I find the reason worth me giving you MY diary.. I'll happily do that.. But if the reason is not proper.. so.. u know.." Hence, he starts to think of a reason..
"Haan toh hai na.. reason hai.." He says..
"Kya hai woh.. 'reason'?"
"Woh.. ummm.. wohhh.."
"Haaan. woh?"
"Ummm.. haan.. mera umm.. mera mann hai padhne ka.."
"Mann hai? That's all u cud think of.." I start laughing.. He looks at me for a while and a small smile crepts up his face.. I stop laughing.. He comes closer.. And closer.. And closer.. He comes close to my face.. I can actually feel his warm breath fanning over my cheeks.. He comes more close..
"Nandini.."
"Manik.." I close my eyes..
"Ha ha!" Crap! I open my eyes to see Manik standing away from me with my DIARY in his hand! Freakin' hell!
"What..? No.. Manik this is cheating.."
"Everything is fair in love.."
"Love..? It's 'everything is fair in love AND war..'"
"Haan toh..? No one is having a WAR here.." He chuckles..
"Then love..?" I say..

"Kya btau mei.. Whenever he comes in front of me I feel my heartbeat stop.. He is like the most wanted person.. Every girl.. Every girl wishes to be with him.. And he.. Ek mauka nahi chodta mujhe satane ke liye.. Bt I like his tender and care.. I love that he cares for me.. And I care for him too.. Uss din.. hospital mei.. It was like I died a thousand deaths.. And a soul woke me out of my death bed.. A soul whom I LOVE with all my heart.. Yes, I.. Nandini Murthy.. Aiyappa r u watching? I have fallen in love! And I am so happyy todayy.. Aiyappa do I tell him tomorrow? Bt.. ummm.. will he reject me..? Is he even interested in me..? Help kro Aiyappa.. Bt ek baat toh crystal clear hai.. That I... love.." Manik reads out of my diary.. Crap! Crap! Crap! Don't read further Manik!
"Manik.." I snatch my diary away..
"What the..? Whom have you fallen in 'love' with Ms. Nandini Murthy?"
"Non of ur business.."
"Of course it's my business." He scootches closer to me..
"Look.. your closeness can't make me conscious.."
"Oh really? Tell this LIE to someone else..!"
"I am NOT lying! I no longer get affected by you.."
"Means you used to?" He snatches my diary backk.. I snatch it back again.. We do it a couple of times till someone interrupts us..
"Nandini, Pandit ji is calling for practice.. Come asap.." Dhruv comes and says..
"Oh right.. I'll be there in 5.. I'm coming.." Dhruv nods at my statement then taking a glimpse of Manik and then our hands touching holding my diary.. he walks away.. I look at Manik who is still looking at Dhruv..
"He's acting so weird.."
"Hmm.. Chalo I hv to go.. My diary?"
"No I wnna read it.." Manik says like a cute baby pouting.. Haan haan saari cuteness iske andar hi bhar do.. Taaki agar kabhi KABHI meine apni chalani ho toh mei na chala pau.. Because he is shoo cuttiee.. Aiyappa, thoda sa fair toh hona chahiye tha na!
"Pls Manik.. I'll give it to you later.."
"Promise?"
"Promise.!" I say as I talk my bag and walk into the music room..

Nandini's POV
"Dhruvv.. Ye kya kr rhe ho? Aise kroge toh tumne toh perform kr lia.. Dhang se reherse kro.. C'mon! You knw u r nt like that Manik Malhotra.. Pls.. acche se kro.." Pandit ji says.. Dhruv is not that good.. I come to a conclusion..
"Ji Pandit ji.." Dhruv says n tries again.. Bt fails..
"Dhruv!" Pandit ji shouts on Dhruv..
"Pandit JI.." Manik comes inside..
"Manik?" I say.. He looks at me and then bck at Pandit ji..
"Pandit JI.. You wr so sure na.. Dhruv wud b MUCH better than me? Phir ye sab kya ho rha hai hai, huh? Ohh.. right right.. Over confidence.. Bt Pandit ji .. You CANNOT talk to mah friend like THAT! Do you understand? If u cannot respect my friend.. Neither can I or nor will he.. So get this STRAIGHT in your head.. You pushed me out RIGHT? So yeah.. You'll pay for that.. Itne kam dino mei u can't find any new replacement.. Dhruv.. tu chal.. I'll nt make u stay here for even a second more!" Manik comes and holds out his hand for Dhruv to hold.. Dhruv hesistates.. He looks at Pandit ji and then Manik.. Pandit.. Manik.. Then finally holds Manik's hand.. I smile..
"Dhruv.. You're missing out an opportunity.."
"I don't care.. I am gng.. I don't wish to b here anymore.." Dhruv walks out.. Manik looks at me and then at Pandit..
"Manik.. you.."
"Request me, Pandit JI.. I might as well HELP u if u do.."
"Okay.. Manik.. will u cm back for the fusion concert?"
"Ummm.. I'd have to ask my consultant for that.. " He turns to me.. "What do you say Ms. Murthy? Shall I come back?"
"I say.. why not.." I smile at him.. He smiles back..

Oh thank god! Pandit ko THODI toh akal aayi.. Chalo problem solved.. Wait a second.. The promise! Nandini promised me to give me her diary.. It's already night.. Hawww cheater!
*bell rings*
Is wakt kon hai? I come down and open the door... Oh Cabir!
"Hey.. whaddup bro?" Crap! Is he drunk?
"Tune pi hui hai Cabir?"
"Pi? Naaahhh.. I don't drink Manik Malhotra.." I was about to close the door when someone stops me.. NANDINI! Oh mah god! She's drunk too!
"Hiii Manniikkk babbbyyy.." She hugs me tightly.. Crap!

"Shuttt uppp Cabir.." She turns back to me.. "Manik.. I remember my promise.. Here you go.." She hands me the diary..
"You came to give em THIS?"

"What..?" She smacks her lips upon mine.. I get startled but join in soon too..
"Chhiii.. bhagwan ji.. kya kya dekhna padhta hai.." Cabir laughs at us..
"Bt.. ummm.. will he reject me..? Is he even interested in me..? Help kro Aiyappa.. Bt ek baat toh crystal clear hai.. That I... love.. my MONSTER Manik.. I love Manik Malhotra! Aiyappa r u listening? I love my Monster.. My monkey.. I love MY MANIK!" I read out.. Aww.. I hug her tightly..
"Can I join for a group hug?" Cabir asks..
"Sure.." Cabir joins in too.. I am about to close the door again when the Fab 3 walk in.. Dhruv, Alia and Mukti come in and join the hug.. Crap! Why r they all freakin' drunk?
