I sincerely don't think he is a creep. He has replaced Manik only to make Nandu Concentrate and focus on music. Manik is a big disturbance for her.

But I dont think Pandit might be upset for Manik attending the class because it is for an event he is not attending and Dhruv is also attending the same event. Mostly Manik might do something about Nandini not attending the classes. Or it could be that Manik does not give proper answer for not attending the sessions. He might give a blunt answer and the Pandit might have got annoyed.
