Niti Taylor is quite happy with the progress of her hit MTV show Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan . "As an actor I have got to play a whole variety of shades right from sweet girl to drunkard to angry girl. You name it, and I have done it ."

She is very proud that her show is now number one on the youth channel brigade," We all have worked very hard. It feels really nice when you are recognized where ever we go. This was a far cry when we first went on air and nobody would even noticed us. "

When asked as to what might have contributed to the show's runaway success? "I guess it is the chemistry between all seven main characters . Also I guess we are one unique kind of sitcom which we only see on Star World, most desi youth shows are also unlike us ."

This Delhi college girl has been around TV for a while. "I had come down to Mumbai for auditions . During one such trial shoot at Balaji Telefilms , Vikas Gupta liked my work and asked me to do Pyaar Ka Bandhan. Later I also was a part of Sarvggun Sampanna and Gulal as well. But soon I opted out as daily soaps are not my cup of tea. But I guess destiny had others plans. It is great to work with Vikas again (Now content head MTV) .

So have you finally cracked the daily soap working schedule code? "Don't ask me how I manage. I don't do anything but shoot. It is a challenge to find time to study for my final year art, but education is very important ."

Niti seems to have quite a professional relationship with her co -star Parth Samthaan ."On set we are just Nandani and Manek. And our on screen chemistry is there for all to see ." On set she, Utkarsh Gupta(Dhruv) and Syed Zain Imam (Abhimanyu) hang out together " We all actors all have our groups on set ."

In closing we ask Niti about her love life and she said the following , "after a bad relationship I have lost faith in the concept of love. I rather invest my time and efforts in cultivating life lasting friendships. I am very glad to have a close group of three friends , we are as thick as thieves and will put our life on the line if needed ."
