With many fears yet hope of fresh start she stepped in to the college. She turned towards the voice in the corridor and saw manik leaning against the wall talking with cabir.Nandini marveled at the way he always managed to looked rugged and sophisticated at the same time. She is in deep thought , how badly she is gonna miss his smile and voice. He looked up and noticed her . His trademark smirk appeared followed by cabir giggles made her realise that she had been caught ogling him. She covered her face with hand in embarrassment and took big steps towards music room ignoring the increasing pitch of laughter behind.
Pandit ji already present in the room and tuning the instruments.
"Good morning sir "
Morning nandini, ready to give the best performance of your life?
Yes, replied manik with grin.
I turned back and he winked.
God he will never leave a stone unturned to annoy sir and me.
We started with our final reharsal.
I was busy in singing and stopped only to see the worry striken faces. I had no idea why they are staring at me.
What's wrong with you nandini?
What did I do? I was clearly dumbfounded.
Take a break ,you are not making music it's noise dear saying he left the room.
I started my rantings, Aiyappa make this performance the good one, I don't want Pandit ji to let down and I need to win manik's trust.
Manik is staring at her. What happened to her? She is furiously nervous, her hands are trembling. She has been dropping things. Then it striked him, is she nervous because of his words earlier that this performance decides their relationship?He mentally cursed himself but was happy at the same time unlike others she never gave up on him. The effort she is making for them is incredible. He wanted to calm her down. Luckily, "her" Pandit ji left us alone.
I saw her mumbling , how cute one can be. I snapped my thoughts and called her. She became more nervous, stood still and glaring down .
I called her again "Nandini ". No response.I walked towards her asking what happened? Nandu look at me.
She looked into his longing eyes and felt the world tilt beneath her feet. Every time when I am this close to him , he manages to linger every feeling and my heart skips a beat.
We will perform well, don't worry. BTW why are you not responding when I'm calling ? I asked her mocking anger.
If I respond you will stop calling right. I like my name when you call.
I was taken back and could see the love in her eyes. I don't want to spoil the moment talking, just pulled her into hug. Suddenly realised that she is crying.
Hey why are you crying?
I didn't know what to answer, how can I tell him I am leaving. He is waiting for my answer. I just blurted out -you hate me .I know, you don't love me anymore.
It took a moment to understand what I have done. I slowly raised my head to see his face. Gosh, I saw his face turning hard and nostrils flared up in anger.
Wow. You never fails to amaze me. I must say u are intelligent. YES! !! Ms murthy, I hate you from the core of my heart. Here I am like a fool trying to Control my anger , confused between love and hate, thinking about you one time and trying to forget you on the other side and engulfed by all sorts of emotions but always want see you happy. But you already decided. Great.

She saw him leaving, ran and stood in front of him and said again see you don't ..anymore..you lost interest in me.
He lost now completely and was about to yell, he saw her standing with a pout. Only she can calm me,still I'm angry . What made you think that madam I almost shouted holding her hands, pinning her to the wall.
Because, ...because you have no interest in kissing me anymore. Earlier you always wanted to and I used to stop. Now a days you are moving away.
This answer is not expected at all. From nandini , out of question. He couldn't help but smile like an idiot and loosened his grip.
It's not like that sweet heart, some one or other always disturb. Try remembering I said toying her fringes.

He stopped me and turned me towards him and asked me

I could see glint of mischief in his eyes and he is trying hard to control his smile. I don't know what got into me , without thinking I tiptoed and pulled him closer , nuzzeled my nose along the arc of his cheek bone and moved down the lip line , nibbled his chin and kissed on throat inhaling his cologne. I saw him, he stood still closing his eyes. I whispered "see, I finished, he opened his eyes in daze.
Suddenly I was all shy, could feel the flush in my cheeks and turned to leave. Manik pulled me back holding my waist , professor nandu what a lovely tutorial said with bone melting sexy voice which made me weak in my knees. Don't you want see how your student learned from you? Turned me again, his eyes full of desire. He took my hand , someone barged into room.
We both turned our heads in frustration to see who spoiled our moment. It's none other than our friends , cabir and navya.
I couldn't help but laugh and turned to manik and whispered
" should improve on your timing , Mr student" . He sighed in defeat and continued giving death glares to cabir. While leaving with navya I winked at cabir. He was totally clueless why I winked and Why manik is super annoyed. I mouthed " wait and watch".
