The need, the deep desire, the red of love and of passion.

Of the distance between two hearts, a lot of space that came up between them and yet a lot of space traversed between them.

Isn't that what they are, issues come, issue multiply, issues get solved, more issues crop up but the need, the love, the desperation for each other, that will always stay constant. Because love is love.

It lays you helpless, breathless, bare to each other, every emotion raw, every feeling heightened.

They came out gasping for air , for their need for each other.

The wounds are still there, but so is the love and the need. And that's all it took.

They just felt. Just felt. Let the emotion ride the moment and in a pool of water, they found a moment of bliss.

When he told her it was a lie at a night where she was to share her secret fireflies with him, she was hurt but she couldn't stop caring. Tending his hand,cleaning his face to being with him while his battle for life. She saw through his helplessness and desperation for her. She was angry , she was pissed but she stayed because she be desperate for him too.

He thinks she is yet to take that blind fall for him even when he knows she cannot lie ever. He wanted to shove her away but couldn't because she now carries a part of him with her. He told her that he will make her hurt but he couldn't because it hurts him to see her hurt.

She wants to make him smile again , hence she shares her hope with him. She gives him the light which will illuminate true love for him in his dark lonely world. He hopes with her for them .

But today when she says she hates holi, he promises to add every colour to her life. So when he fakes his ill-health, she lets go of her own fears and rushes to save him. And there he makes her confront her own fears, letting the very colours she detests be the witness of their love. He asks if she trusts him and she responds will he trust her "trust" in him.

But then they have hope and today was all about celebrating that hope.

P.S. I love suspending things "up" in the air , a trait I think I share with my lovely Cat. ☺️
