You are also right that may be due to guilt or saving Manik from getting into trouble again by Niyonika due to her she might distance herself. Its a big probability. But I also think when it will come to the tutelage of Pandit she will keep distance from Manik to avoid Pandit's ire as she knows he is very strict. So may be this will also make Manik upset and fear her going away from him.

Ya this is the first possibility priyanka... n the precap also I felt that something myt hv triggered him to say those lines ryt...or she myt hv confronted him that y he is dng that n all...
n the truth will make nandini to distance more...n she myt spend more time in practice n she ll try to avoid to meet manik's eye contact also bcz she herself will feel that she betrayed
