So guys here I am with day 3 of the analysis saga. Most of you are probably all sick of the spam and repetitive ideology about the mind vs the heart that I'm using as the crux to evaluate and justify the actions of manik and nandini. So first of all sorry if I'm killing you with my absolutely boring and lenthy bragging but the buzz of thoughts in my head that starts after every episode finishes just doesn't seem to stop until I express my thought process in this forum.
Now getting onto today's episode... can we all just take a deep breath and cherish the last 9 minutes and 1 second of the episode that was filled with heart-wrenching, soul-touching and simply awe-worthy manan scene. Sometimes I do wonder if such realistic depiction of a love story has even been showcased on indian television before. We've had some splendid onscreen jodis, no doubt. But this jodi just has an unknown and indescribable x-factor that makes me want to praise and applaud louder with each episode.
As for all of us manan fans, I think most of you will agree that today's episode was an absolute treat to watch. Whilst the story may be moving at a rather prolonged and unhurried speed, Manik's and Nandini's relationship seems to have picked up speed. The most eagerly awaited "break" weapon was used by Nandini today and there's no denying she demanded for it at the right time. Perhaps if she would have demanded for a break earlier, Manik's anger would have over-pover-powered his ability to communicate with her at an emotional level. But as he had already experienced many instances throughout the day where his heart's emotions had clouded the thoughts that his mind wanted to impose, all that he said to her in today's episode during their break sequence wept out naturally from his heart. I felt to some extent manik had been longing for that break too because her tears, her touch, her words and her eyes had continued to weaken him bit by bit. They were the reason his mask was starting to fade away fragment by fragment.
Undoubtedly the heart was the winner once again today. The mind played no role. When he was asked by cabir to go talk to nyonika, he simply got up and left the room. At that stage, yes the heart didn't technically win, but he didn't give in to his mind either. He simply ignored every emotion, every thought process that were constantly in tussle with each other.
After quite some time, today we saw manik willingly touch nandini. When he wiped her tears from her face, it was almost like he was wiping away the tears of pain his heart was weeping because she was crying. When he tucked the lock of hair behind her ear, he was removing all that which was hindering him from gazing into her eyes. He wanted to relive and just peacefully cherish the essence of being able to just adore the eyeful face that he hadn't been able to hold throughout the day. When he wrapped his long fingers around her shoulders and held her in place, making no other movement, he fought the urge to pull her so close into his bear hugs and hide her from this world that took advantage of her innocence. But at some point, the pain was bound to return. He eventually pushed her away as if she never had any presence in his life. But did we all notice, his face stayed unturned. He knew this pain of hatred for her was still bearable, but he was afraid that the pain of seeing her leave would be un-endurable. So he kept his face hidden. He knew his current anger could be controlled, but this separation would be the cause of his self-destruction. So he kept his eyes away from her sight. For a second, it seemed It was going to be a tie between the mind and the heart. But his actions, changed my decision...He let her go today but hardly. As her footsteps increased the distance between them, his mind stopped thinking and heart started thumping. As the fear grew of losing her, the restleness of his soul grew too.
As for Nandini, this journey that she thinks seems to be ending for the both of them, is infact a refeshing, enlightening and a new start. She might have not realised but today she didn't show any hesitance in hugging Manik. The girl who once used to think before her each and every action, seems to be listening to her heart and heart only these days. She isn't scared of his anger , or his frustration or the fire that stays burning inside him. She just wants him... every minute inch of him to herself. Not long to go, I feel are those days when Nandini Moorthy will take upon the challenge, the responsibility and the fight to remove this weed that has quite ruthlessly implanted itself in the soils of Manik's heart.
Now it will be interesting to see what twist will tomorrow's episode bring with itself. It's clear as crystal that Manik went to Nyonika on his heart's will, but the question remains, what did she ask in return to oblige him with this favour in order to allow his heartbeat to remain in this college.
