Manik knows that Nandini told the truth.

He knows he let Noyonika win.

So why is he upset?

Copy/pasting from what I wrote in the AT:

I still maintain its Noyo that bothers him, he is angry because the "light", Nandini that was supposed to fight the "darkness", Noyo failed and fell to the darkness herself. The idealised picture of Nandini protecting him from the darkness is too strong in his mind.

His realisation should be that they need to fight together, and even then they might fail. You cant stop darkness from approaching at night. But everyday also brings a new light.

Manik has to accept that he is dark and light, he needs to accept that his darkness is also a part of him. that just because he has good in him, doesn't mean that he doesn't have the dark in him, they both exist side by side. His problem is he wants N to see him as pure "white"

No one is pure white but M sees N as pure white I guess, or atleast did and he wants to be pure white too. Somewhere that little boy who took up darkness as his sword and shield, has a lot of self-loathing😭

He loves her but he has put her on a pedestal, she fell off it,, he is learning to deal with it.

So here i am ..

Wat i liked is the thing u pointed out abt how manik sees nandini ..like the perfect lady of his life ..and this track is to prove him wrong abt it ..she is hums ..she can make errors ..and i think he wont stop seeing himself from her view ..it was always nandini ..wat she thinks abt him ..he got really frustrated when she accused him of goons and the storeroom ..he is affected by her .

He should realise he is good at heart ..its in hiS genes ..she isnt the one hu induce it ..she is the one who showed it to him ..she is one who just triggered it out .

But i love monster manik like nyo 😎

I dont know if worship is the right word here,

He has never experienced anyone loving him unconditionally, Someone who believed there was good in him, someone who was willing to see beyond the facade of the Monster. He thought she could do no wrong. But even good people make mistakes, its very hard to find anyone in life who has not made a mistake but Manik didnt think Nandini could make a mistake and when she did, it threw him off balance.

To err is to human...About time Manik realized this

Maybe through this track he will realize that though Nandini is his star but even she can falter at times and that means he has to catch her then..it all comes back to that leao of faith which she took and where Manik caught her

This time too needs to...Even moon has its marks but it does not cease to be pretty!

And it was never a matter of Nyos manipulation , yes she fanned the flames but it was their shortcoming , their internal conflict, their lack of communication and different notions of trust that did it for them " This time I let u win"

But MaNan will find back their way..because they are meant to be and this time stronger than before

He basically needs to realize that there is a "grey shade " in life too except light (white) & dark (black) ... till now everything for him has been on a extreme level ...be it trust or love especially when it comes to nandini... he needs to understand shes a human who can commit mistakes under pressure or manipulation

exactly..the problem lies there...his 'expectation' from her of protecting him from all kinds of darkness ,his blind faith on her, his star who always shine and only shine is the result of all his hurt..he never see that in clouded night when stars are surrounded by clouds,even star being shiny fails to spread their light...similarly his star can also be surrounded by clouds like manipulation,doubt etc..and fails to shine...but as soon as clouds disappears,they shine again..just like that his star will also shine for him...always...hamesha...let her deal with the cloud...

Yes I agree that Manik needs to accept that his goodness and his dark side can co-exist. He has to make peace with the demons of his past but at the same time embrace her light completely.

No human being is black or white...

The reason he is upset could be his own insecurities. His inability to become the man she wants him to be, to have failed her, for her to have this confusion in her mind. He wanted to be good for her. But if she has doubts over him, then this transformation becomes irrelevant. Can he ever be the perfect man for her? Can she ever forget the past deeds of the monster? These thoughts are eating him up and hence this mask of indifference and hatred...
