The fight is not just between light and darkness...but between Manik's fears and his feelings as well... Either his fears about Nandini can win or his feelings for her can win...Nandini is the light in his life..but if he wants to chose the darkness, his fears will win... Even if Nandini shines like a star for him, it is upto Manik whether to close his eyes and put his head under pillow or to actually look at the light and enlighten his world...Because unless he is willing to accept that ray of hope and that light, no amount of sacrifice by Nandini can bring him out from darkness! He will have to fight his own fears and emerge victorious from that! The question now is how far Nandini will have to burn herself like fireflies, so that Manik could open his eyes and come out of darkness😳

His alone scenes could have been better too.Not saying he had to scream, be OTT or cry more , but the pain was missing- also the pauses were very Uttu like.

This thing could have worked better if they carried the whole sequence in one episode. That flow was missing whereas Niti's eyes were doing the talking about the damage that has happened.

I like the coldness just it was a better yesterday when he pushed that eyebrow up and asked her who says I love you! I wanted that today too.

This agreeing business seems to have started as soon as MaNan broke up...correlation you think?😆


@bold: That was awesome! He NAILED that bit so well yesterday...isiliye toh the disappointment is harder today...I wanted a continuation of that...but today he just got weirdly stilted in showing the "coldness"...otherwise I'm fine with the cold version of Manik.

And yeah, word about the flow...would've helped make more impact for sure.


Niti was the only one that made the TRAGEDY of the situation come out...just the right degree of shattered hurt in her eyes, the way she stutters his name out hesitatingly knowing that things are getting worse...seeing HIM having a meltdown, every bit of that paralleled in her getting shattered...and Niti nailed the shattering...she was literally shaking with the impact by the end of it.

@M16 - Your BC got married, Congrats on that. 😆

The thing with Manik is that he's grey. Everything he does will not have a right reasoning, every characteristic or action of his won't me morally correct always. If he always does the right thing or has the right reasons then toh he'll be Gandhi. 😆 He's supposed to be flawed and make mistakes and he does that. Not everything he does can be rightly justified, he's flawed. He's grey.

I love him anyway.
