Manik's anger is justified...He feels betrayed...He needs to vent out that anger...It is true... But I dont believe walking out or saying I Hate you is right way to express the anger..Sure couples fight, get angry...but they dont end the relationship at every weak moment...The problem with Manik is his intensity... He loves her with passion and yet even a slight prick by her, just pierces his heart... He probably doesnt even care about the case...but its Nandini's words that hurt him the most! And it is understandable... But I would have prefered if he had given her a chance... a benefit of doubt...he knows Nandini was played by Noyonika... and yet he can't forgive her!

Further, the question still remains Can Manik kill someone for Nandini? And as I remember Genie answered it correctly...That probably yes, he can...to protect his loved ones, he can go to any extremes...And it is a quality, not a negative aspect of his nature! Probably, he himself can't understand this thing at the moment... Lets imagine that Pandit is trying to harm Nandini, lets say he tries to molest her...Do you think Manik would leave him alive? Bcoz the passion with which he loves her, he wont let anybody hurt her...especially this way... He would beat the shit out of the guy...and if needed probably kill him as well!

So, isn't Nandini's doubts justified? Even Manik's own best friend Cabir got confused on the same question..Does it mean even Cabir doesnt trust Manik? Or is it that he knows him better than Manik knows himself?

Just wrote this somewhere else too, but anyway, here goes.

I like how they are approaching this 'trust' question. Nandini's guilty right now, she recognised that she has 'failed' someone for the first time. Manik says she has failed him. I'm glad the protection shit's over an done with.

Thing is, Nandini did not make a 'mistake', not for me. So I don't see WHY she should apologise or go around wooing him. This is not Musicana where the line was very clear- MANIK was WRONG. He willingly CHOSE to crush her . Yes, we ahve all expalined his reasoning and friendship and all that, but at the end of the day, that was fact, and MaNan got over it and moved on.

This time, how is Nandini 'wrong' to tell him that she had a doubt? She faltered under a moment of pressure, and he doesn't hold her responsible for that. I LOVE HIM FOR THAT. But he is not able to accept it when she tells him her truth, one which he doesn't like. I'll hold my judgement till I see how they show Nandini going forward from here, the kind of pressure she puts herself under, the kind of pressure even the audience, is putting on the character. How she takes everything literally, which is usually not problematic, but with Manik it doesn't work because he is the kind of giy who expects her to trust what he's saying, and even what he's not saying. He wants her to trust his truth and his lies, which is essentially what his friends do. Absolute, blind trust. He craves it from Nandini especially, because he loves her so much. He's not wrong. But he's not right either. they need to find a middle path here, like always.

Manik needs to figure out how he is essentially helping Noyonika by being 'bad'. He, in his anger, is becoming what he detests the most- he's essentially becoming his mother's toy. And only Nandini's truth, her doubt will make him do this. No one else in his life has the bloody balls to tell him that truth. Fab4 will doubt him but they will lie to him, and for him. Reason why he never explains his actions to them, and why they can't ask him for it either, so they will happily go around wrongly blaming Nandini instead of asking their own friend.

His friends seem to trust Noyonika's ability to handle their shit blindly, and that is why I asked that question on the previous AT- does Manik trust Noyonika? Cabir saying outside the court- Noyonika did her magic again. Does Manik have any idea that the give-and-take he so believes in, is all really part of a much bigger manipulation, that Noyonika does to keep him under her thumb? Harshad understood that, Manik doesn't- he, in his reckless innocence, is letting himself be moulded by his mom. And only Nandini's doubts can drag him out of this web. THAT is how she becomes his star, not by blindly trusting him or lying for him or running around trying to 'protect' him all the time. She's his star because she doubts him, but loves him anyway, and because he loves her too, he'll rage at her but also explain himself. It's how they work.

Noyonika is BRILLIANT. She's the best thing to have happened to this show since Musicana.

@arathi- Aww...😳..thanks for the love. True that , he trusts her, protects her and all that, it is just that him walking away at even a slight stir of trouble was unsettling- for him it was something he couldn't fathom,understandable- but i want this issue to plague them till they arrive at a neutral ground.A point where they are ready to overlook this and work it out without walking out.I know it is all yet to unfold but saying for the sake.

@Areyaar- you got to know asses win seats in cool club 😆... fireflies as magical and fairy tale they may sound, was kinda joke to me honestly, so hands down, you be the head of the cool club
