Recap: Nandini went to Mr. Khuarana's office

Chapter 5:

Nandini was smiling, she understood that now Khurana will try to play smart with her but she won't let him. She had it all covered. She was protecting his guy (Well, right now she has lost this right to call him, her guy. But she will win him back).

Nandini: Alright, let's come to the point. First of all, I don't want you to tell anyone about this, not even Niyonika about whatever I'm going to say and that I know that Soha's alive.

Hearing this made Mr. Khurana more confused. She come to me all these proof against me, can get me arrested anytime but rather she wants me to hide that she knows all this. What is she upto.

Nandini couldn't stop smiling; she loves to be on the other side of the table. Earlier he was blackmailing her and manipulated the whole Soha's death fiasco. And now it was her turn, she will manipulate him.

Nandini: Mr. Khurana kaha kho gaye? So you agree?

Mr. Khurana thought it will be good if she herself don't want to tell anyone about it. So he agrees.

Nandini: Okay. So now I want to see how much power you hold. Make calls, use your sources and get Fab5 an album offer in any of a good, reputed label. They are really talented and deserved that album more than anyone else and because of you and your daughter they lost it. And I want you to repay. Though she feels guilty that, because of her Fab5 lost their album, but she couldn't show that to Khurana.

Mr. Khurana was surprised. This girl has all the proofs against me and all she wants is an album offer for Fab5. Wow!! Niyonika has taken panga with a wrong girl or should I say right girl. Still Mr. Khurana will not agree so easily. He can't show her that she can play well.

Mr. Khurana: What rubbish are you talking? Why should I help them getting an album offer? I gave them a chance once and they lost it.

Nandini: Do I need to repeat, they lost album because of your daughter. Do what I say or I can go to police any minute.

He didn't utter a word for another two minutes. He was all quite.

Nandini: I don't have all day, Mr. Khurana. Hurry up! I'm sure you're a busy man yourself. And yes Fab5 should not know I have told you to do so. Infact no one should know about it. They got the album because that label is interested in them. Got it?

Now hurry up. I won't leave until you do your work.

Mr. Khurana then made some calls. It was not so easy, but he managed it. After all his respect and position is very much important to him.

Mr. Khuarna: Platinum Label, they'll offer Fab5 an album. And they have agreed on not telling them that I have any hand in it.

Nandini: Well, that's because they are deserving and any label would be happy to work with them.

Mr. Khurana: Now I have done your work, give me those pictures.

Nandini: Do you really think I'll give these pictures. I can't trust you. Let them launch their album, and then we can think about it.

Thankyou Mr. Khurana , it was nice working with you. I hope you stick to your words and don't try to play around, because you know what I can do right?

With that she went out his office, leaving him stunned. She was proud of herself after what she did today. " Aiyeappa, bas ese hi mere saath dete rehna taki main sab kuch theek kardu. Thank you aiyeappa" she prayed looking above.

Evening:

Nandini was sitting with her Chachi watching TV when the door bell rung.

Chachi: Nandu dekh kaun aya hai?

Nandini: Haan Chachi.

Nandini opened the door and was surprised to see Navya and Cabir.

Nandini: Tum log yaha?

Nandini was thinking, what if they asked me about me leave from college today, in front of Chachi. Then, it will create problem. "Aiyeappa, please help!"

Cabir: Kyu yaha ana mana hai?

Nandini: Nahi, par tum dono yaha achanak...

Cabir: Haan to surprise achanak hi diya jata hai Nandini ji.

Navya: Cabir, tum chup raho. Nandini wo hum tumse milne aae hai, tumhe laagi hui hai na.

Chachi: Nandu, kaun aya hai? Kisse baatein kari jaa ri hai?

Cabir: Chachi hum aaye hai... dekho ye Nandu andar bhi ni bula ri.

Nandini: Ohh... please come.

Chachi: Arre tum log, yaha achanak kese ane hua.

Navya: Chachi ji, hum Nandini ka haal puchne aaye hai.

Chachi: Hayee...Kitne ache bache ho. Aur wo Manik ni aya?

Nandini made a sad face hearing his name. How she wish him to be there as well.

Cabir saw her expression and tried to cover up.

Cabir: Nahi... Chachi... Rishab kaha hai?

Chachi: Wo soo rha hai apne kamre mein..

And then door bell rang again.

Chachi: Tere Chacha aaye honge, dekh toh zara.

Nandini opened the door with a shock now. Manik was standing right in front of her. She froze for a second as she didn't expect him to be there. While Manik, was only looking at her injured head. He was about to touch her head but instead snapped his fingers just to justify his action.
Manik: What? (With a stern expression)

Nandini couldn't react to anything. She was still in shock to see him there. Only when Chachi moved her aside she came back to reality.

Chachi: Nandu tu baar baar darwaze pe kyu khadi ho jaati hai. Ab kaun aya ha... Manik. Cabir tum toh keh re the Manik nahi aya... toh ye kaun hai.

Hearing Manik's name Cabir and Navya turned their head around, and to their shock Manik was really there.

Manik was expecting the same reaction from them, to which he remained expressionless. "Wo Chachi main Cabir ko dhundne aya tha."

Cabir: Mujhe kyu? Aur tujhe kese pta main yaha hu?

Manik: Kabse tujhe phone kar rha hu lag hi ni rha... aur fir GPS pe dekha tu yaha tha. Fir tujhe call kiya par laga ni. Socha andar hi ana padega lene. Wese tu yaha kya kar rha hai?

Cabir understood his game plan and tries to take out the truth from him.

Cabir: Main Nandini se milne aya...usse lagi hai na. Par tu mujhe dhund kyu rha tha?

Manik looked at Nandini, focusing on her bandage.

Manik: Wo... I wanted to go to a party tonight.

Cabir: Achaa...

Manik: Haan ab chal.

Chachi: Arre tum abhi aaye ho aur jaa bhi re ho.

Manik: Chachi kuch urgent kaam hai baad mein...

With that he went out of the house looking at Nandini once more. He felt relieved. There was a peace inside him. Just for few minutes, but atleast he met her.

Cabir: Abee saale, ye kya tha? Nandini se milna that toh saaf saaf bolta na.

Manik (keeping a straight face): What nonsense! Tujhe hi dhund rha tha. Chal ab party karne.

Cabir (smirking): Acha toh party krni hai?

Manik: Aur kya!!

Cabir knew the real reason behind Manik's visit. But he didn't force him to say it loud. He was happy to know his concern for Nandini and after whatever he may say, he still loves her. He was sure that one day he will forgive Nandini and tell her his true feelings. Till then let him go with the flow.

It was a very trying day for Nandini, but it was all worth it. She was thinking about all that happened today. Her confrontation with Khurana; Navya and Cabir's visit and Manik. She was still shocked with his visit. "Has he really come for Cabir or was it for me?" She doubted. She may believe it was the former one if she hadn't seen that look in his eyes. There was clear concern for her and the way he was looking at the bandage. She smiled. "I know you still care Manik I know. I will get you back, that's my promise."

After her talking session with stars, she went to bed. She slept freely that night with her new found hope.

And on the other side, Manik had a peaceful sleep as well for a change.
