Heya! I'm a newbie on IF. This is the first time I have tried my hand at writing. Please read the OS and lemme know how you feel about it. Thank you. 😊
Prologue:
It's been two weeks now since our last goodbye. Valentine's Day it was, when he left me all alone. I wanted to confess my love rather got I Hate You in return. He says it was my fault I didn't trust him, that could I even think that I murdered someone.
I tried, I tried to explain him I trusted him that he couldn't murder Soha but I got confused because of what Cabir and Niyonika said and that video. I told him that I just couldn't lie and that I would have prove your innocence. But he didn't listen. He was broken; I could see it in his eyes. I saw the pain he had inside him and I understood. But he didn't listen.
He went away, saying the last goodbye. It broke me, tore me apart! How could he think that I didn't trust him? I know it was my mistake, that one moment of mistake took away the most precious thing of my life. I curse that moment, why... Why had it come in my life.
Since then I tried to explain him, tell him I'm sorry. Because of me Monster Manik was back. I coukd see the pain he was suffering from all because of me. But I will win his trust back, even if it would take my whole life. I will soothe his pain. I will get My Manik back.
It was the last day of February. A regular day at SPACE Academy, will all its hustle and bustle. The evil Fab 5 was back. These two weeks changed everything, old days were back (Well not in actual terms but the rudeness was back). Now manik was back to being 'The Monster Manik', but he doesn't talk much now. Mostly he would be lost in his own world where only pain was left. He was hurt beyond repair. Cabir tried to help him explain things but he didn't want to hear anything related to Nandini anymore.
Fab5 were in their practice room when suddenly they hear music coming through college speakers. Those speakers were attached to auditorium's mike. Whenever an announcement was to made or some performance would be going on, these speakers were to use.
And then someone started singing...
Don't say goodbye,
It's hard to let you go,
Tomorrow seems so far away for me to know..
They couldn't recognised the voice, though they have heard it before but it was hard to tell.
Cabir: Who is this singer!? We got to see. Chalo auditorium!
Mukti, Alya and Dhruv: Chalo!
While there was only one person who knew the singer. He got stunned to hear her voice coming through these speakers. It was the first time he was hearing her singing after that incident. Her voice, it had so peace and pain in it at the same time. It was giving him shivers.

No he can't hear it, he needs to go out ( he shouted within)
He ran out of the room but her voice wasn't leaving him alone. The speakers were installed at every corner of college. Her voice was making him weak, he can't be weak. He needs to go out of college.
Today I heard our favourite song on radio,
I closed my eyes and saw our first hello,
And then I saw the time we fell in love with in each others arms,
I open my eyes and you were gone...
He was about to move towards college stairs to go out when suddenly Cabir held him.
Cabir: Kaha jaa rha hai?
Manik: I need to go home.
Cabir: Home!? No you are not going home. Come with us.
Dhruv: Yes buddy! At least let's see who is the singer.
Manik was about to say something when Cabir dragged him towards auditorium. Manik just couldn't help, he wanted to run away but he was dragged to her.
And there in the auditorium, she was standing at the centre stage. Her eyes closed, singing her song looking so serene.
Mukti, Alya, Dhruv and Cabir (said at the same time): Nandini!!
Shocked they were.
Manik was out of words to explain the scene going in front of him. He couldn't take his eyes of her. He wanted to run from there but couldn't move a step as if he got froze.
Suddenly I realised how I love you so,
And how I can't survive without your love...
Nandini sensed something, suddenly her heartbeat started pacing fast. She opened her eyes and there he was looking at her stunned. She started getting shivers and her heartbeat was so fast that she thought she would faint any minute. But she didn't stop singing.
Since the time we'd said goodbye,
It's hard for me to stay,
How I wish you'd never go away...
Each and every word she sang had so much pain in it. Everyone present there could sense it. Even her eyes were teary.
Fab5 except Manik didn't except her to be there singing with such passion. Their shock was visible on their faces, not a single person's expression changed since they saw her singing.

A lone tear came down Manik's cheek but he didn't realised it, he was so lost in her voice and those lyrics. It made his heart ache, the pain which he was trying to hide it from everyone and himself was coming out.
He could sense her pain, he knew what she was going through but he felt helpless because the pain which she gave him was uncurable. He just couldn't forgive her.

Nandini was singing each and every word with such passion. As if she was describing the pain she is in. Tears couldn't stop flowing. She didn't want to cry but today these tears were not listening to her.
With every word her pain was coming out. Seeing him right in front of him was making every moment difficult. But she was singing for him, she wrote this song for him. And now when he was standing right at the corner of auditorium, she couldn't help. She wanted to hug him tight, just like old days. She wish she could. But right now she was happy that at least he's there listening.
Today I read your letters,
And waited for your call,
I wondered if you think of me at all,
Again I turned the radio on and heard our favourite song,
Then I know soon you'll be coming home...
All the moments they had spent together were running like a film right in front of their eyes. All the happy moments and so were sad.
I heard our favourite song on the radio

All alone..
Her voice started trembling, she couldn't sing anymore. It was too much for her and just like that she started crying. She was crying out loud. She couldn't help it.
And then right at that moment she heard a thud, Manik went outside bashing the door. She felt helpless, she felt like she has lost it. And he will never come back. This made her heart vince in pain.
As Manik went out, so did Alya and Mukti. But they couldn't find him. He was there just a second before and now he's lost. They were so angry on Nandini for making him suffer like this.
Cabir went to Nandini, as he couldn't see her in that situation. He understood her and her pain. He wanted to help her out in every way he can but Manik was just not ready to listen.
While Dhruv just stood there, as if he's clueless of what to do and whom to help Nandini or Manik?
Seeing her crying like that, Manik couldn't help it. He ran away from there, ran away from her, from Fab5. Only when he reached his car he realised his eyes were wet. He wiped them and drove far from college, from her.
He stopped at a lonely place just to let it out. Let the pain out.
He didn't cry out loud until now. But today he cried his heart out. He just couldn't stop.
"NANDINI", he shouted.
"Why all this pain, when you don't trust me, love me. Why Nandini, why?"
On the other side where Nandini almost lost hope and Cabir was trying to console her, got up.
"I won't lose hope", she said. "I will win his trust back. I can't lose him. He's all I have got. I will get you back Manik. I will take you out from that pain, pain which I gave you. I will Manik, I will."
