I think Nandu is even more guilt-stricken precisely cuz she realizes somewhere that they've been down this road once before and how difficult it was to overcome it that time...that hesitation comes from there only...she is wary because she has also experienced that hurt once and is wary about how Manik would process that hurt now that he's in that position...


She is more than willing to take on his anger, his hurt, his disappointment cuz she finds it all JUSTIFIED...unlike Manik's time toh he was on a different trip regarding all this, self-beratement, denial and all sorts of things mixed in.


But Nandu is CLEAR on this front...she failed him and he is right to be upset with her...yes she has an explanation but she is not expecting him to not be hurt regardless.


She carries that burden heavier than he did...because she realizes what it took for them to reach THIS point and then she failed them both.

I don't know how...its difficult. CVs played clever here, they can anytime turn it into I didn't believe that you could kill, but accidents can happen..(cleverly the magistrate's question was .."is Manik involved in Soha's death").
