Chapter 20
Evryone enters inside and as soon as they all get in Mukti asks about Alya and Dhruv.
Mukti:Hey ye Alya aur Dhruv kaha hai...kahi dikhaye nai de rahe hai..
Nandini ws scared for this questn only and her fears came true as Mukti askd the exact thing so Nandini tells her abt Alya's fake cut.
Nandini:Vo na..actually guys vo jab mai aur Alya cooking kar rahe the to she got a cut on her hand so Dhruv took her to her room for putting bandage over it.
Mukti:What..she got a cut..ok il jst go and check on her.
Before Nandini could stop her from going Mukti jst zoomed out from there leaving a worried Nandini behind.Manik ws constantly looking at Nandini and seeing her face he easily got to knw tht there ws something brewing in her head which he is not aware of.Cabir being the alltime cupid looks at the couple and decides to give them some privacy so says.
Cabir:Well..since Mukti yaha se chali gayi hai aur tumdono ki shakal dekhke I understood ke ab yaha mera bhi kuch kam nai so hai better than being kebab mai haddi mai bhi Alya ke pas jata hu..
Saying this he winks at both of them and he too leaves then.Nandini gets more worried seeing him leave too so she quickly runs inside kitchen to msg Alya abt the other's arrival.Seeing her runaway like this,Manik too goes behind her into kitchen.
Alya and Dhruv were inside her room still hugging eachother wen Alya hears her phone beeping.They broke their hug and Alya checks her phone and gets shockd reading Nandini's msg.Dhruv asks her aftr seeing her expression to which Alya says.
Alya:Vo Nandini ka msg aya hai tht Manik,Cabir and Mukti have come here and Cabir and Mukti are coming to my room to check on me as Nandini tld tht I got a cut and u are doing the dressing for it..
Dhruv too gets worried:Oh god ab ye log kyu aagaye..ok so lets do a thing 1st lets put bandage to ur hand otherwise we would be caught...
Alya agrees and Dhruv hurriedly puts the bandage on Alya's hand wen they hear Mukti's voice and sees them opening the door and entreing inside.
Mukti:Hey Alya..hw is ur hand..let me see it..
She takes the hand and sees bandage.Cabir then comes near to them and asks if it is deep or not to which Dhruv replies.
Dhruv:No..jyada deep nai hai..minor hi tha to maine bandage laga di hai..
Cabir:Ok..bt ye tumhare room ka door bahar se lockd kyu tha..
Both Alya and Dhruv gets shocked listening this and remembres tht Nandini had did thtis to make them not leave so to cover up Alya says.
Alya:What locked..we dnt knw anything abt it..maybe door ka lock kharab hogya hoga anyways tumlog yaha kaise aaye..
Mukti:Vo na hamlog bohot bore ho rahe the to socha to join u guys..kyu koi problem hai agar ham aye to..
Alya:Shut up Mukti..aisa kuch nai hai..maine to bas casually pucha..bt anyways lets go down nw..
Evryone agrees and head towards the hall.Meanwhile in kitchen after msging Alya,nandini turns behind and collides with Manik who ws standing exact behind her.She looks at him and showing fake anger says.
Nandini:Wat the hell Manik..tum yaha kyu aaye..aur khud to aaye hi upar se baki sab ko bhi sath mai le aaye..
Manik getting more close:First of all..mai yaha khud nai aaya aur na hi mai inhe sath mai laya..ye Mukti ka idea tha ok..and secondly dnt try to act smart with me by showing this fake anger coz I knw u vry well so tell me wats cooking in ur head..kya chupa rahi ho tum mujse..
Nandini gets nervous as lieing to Manik is the most difficult thing for her coz he knw her damn too well to catch her lies and moreover they never hide anything from eachother which ws making her feel more guitly.
She thinks,"Aiyaappa..mai kya karu..maine kabhi Manik se kuch nai chupaya bt ab ye sab usse bata bhi nai sakti coz issbar baat hamare bare me nai balki Dhruv-Alya ke bare mai hai and vo dono nai chahte to disclose it nw nd moreover it wud be good if they tell it by themselves na..so ab na chahte hue bhi muje Manik se sabkuch chupana padega.."
Manik shakes her from her thoughts and again asks her about it to which Nandini very casually replies.
Nandini:Manik..tum na kuch jyada hi sochne lage ho aajkal..mai kuch nai chupa rahi hu tumse..tum na bas aisehi kuch bhi assumptions laga rahe ho..
Manik ws nt convinced:Really..ye tum bol rahi ho..ok so tell me subah tumne muje no bolkar Dhruv ke sath kyu yaha aayi..
Nandini:Vo maine bola tha na tht I wntd to buy gift for Chachi and Dhruv's choice is good abt it..
Manik:So meri choice buri hai kya..and let me remind u Ms.Moorthy ur Chachi likes me more so definitely unhe meri choice hi pasand ayegi na so tumhe Dhruv ko leke jane ki kya zarurat thi..
Sensing his jealousy again,Nandini jst smiles and encircles her hands around his neck and smirkingly says.
Nandini:So Mr.Manik Malhotra is again getting jealous and this time tht too with his best frnd..oh god Manik..mai tumhara kya karu..
Manik holds her waist tightly and pulls her towards him and says.
Manik:Listen m nt jealous ok and tht too with Dhruv never ever..mai to bas aisehi bol raha tha..vo bhi bcz tumne muje mana kiya tht also even knwing tht I wntd to spend time with u bt no u being the ever-stubborn tum kyu mere bare mai sochogi..tumhe to bas mujse door jana hota hai na..
Saying this he left her and making an angry pout moved ahead.Nandini knewing him very well jst smiled and went towards him and hugged him from behind and said.
Nandini:Awww...my poor baby is angry on me...m so sry Manik..i really didn't had any such intensions..vo to Alya ke liye I had to do this..bt anyway I knw hw to cheer u up..
Saying this she made him turn around and seductively caressing his face she made him look at her.Manik who ws nw getting lost in his touches jst kept looking at her as if diving in his baby brown eyes which ws filled with only love for him.Manik too slided his hands around her waist and pulled her more closer and lifted his hand to touch the angelic face infront of him.Nandini then got on her toes to match with his height.Seeing her doing this Manik grinned and he lowered himself and brought his face inches away from hers.Nandini smiled at him and without wasting any seconds jst kissed him hard on his lips making him forget evrything behind.This act of her ws enough to drive him crazy so he too started moving his lips in sync with her exploring deep corners of her mouth.Nandini dug her nails in his hair pulling him more closer while her tongue ws busy fighting with his.Manik lifted Nandini in air and made her sit on the kitchen patform still kissing her passionately while Nandini ws jst busy exploring his insides.They both were gasping for air bt were nt ready to leave eachothr so soon.
So breaking the kiss,Manik started kissing her cheeks and then started moving towards her collarbone while leaving Nandini jst moaning his name in pleasure.He reached her neck and started giving her small kisses allover there.Nandini pushed Manik's shirt behind and entered her hands inside it to feel his muscular chest which ws nw thumping hard due to his fast heartbeats.They both were so lost in their own world when suddenly they heard their friends voices coming from stairs.Realising their presence they both got away from eachother's hold and Nandini came down from the platform to get herself straightened up while Manik did the same.
Both Manik and Nandini were blushing after remembring their recent encounter when all fab4 arrived there.Seeing there faces Cabir understood wat had happened jst nw so jst to pull their legs he says.
Cabir:Guys..dnt u feel the temperature is too hot over here..i mean Nandini..manik aur tum milkar aisa kya hot kar rahe the yaha..
Evrone looks curiously at cabir while Manan stayed blushing without answering.Cabir smiled seeing them and says..
Cabir:Arey chill..mera matlab tha ke kuch hot cooking kar rahe the kya jo yaha itni garmi badh gayi...
Manik eyed him to shut up while Nandini ws looking here and there to avoid meeting gaze with him.She then spotted Dhruv-Alya standing infront of her smiling looking at eachother so decides to tease them a lil.
Nandini:Anyways Alya..hw is ur cut nw..i hope Dhruv ne acche se dressing kar di hai na..
She smiles while saying this while the both jst blushes then Dhruv says.
Dhruv:Yes Nandini..i did my job perfectly and the credits goes to u only afterall u only sent me there na to help her out..
The true meaning behind these words were only understood by Dhrulya and Nandini while the rest looked puzzled.Getting no idea abt wats happening Cabir asks.
Cabir:Credit and all matlab tu to bandage lagane gaya tha na..anyway vo sab chodo aur main point pe aate hai and tht is food jiske liye we all came..kyu Alya lets taste tumne Nandini se kitna sikha hai and I heard new cookbook bhi mangvaya tumne to I hope ke kuch accha hi banaya hoga aaj..
Evryone gets moving towards the dining table after Cabir said this.Then Alya remembers tht they havent cooked anything as they were busy in their own worlds.She then apologizes to evryone..
Alya:Sry guys bt actually na vo mere hath mai cut aagaya tha isliye we cudnt cook anything..m really sry for disappointing to u all..Bt if u guys wnt I can cook nw..u jst wait here..
Evryone's mood turns sad bt still Mukti jst to nt make her feel bad says.
Mukti:Its ok yaar...we can understand tht u got hurt so hw will u cook..so chill no need to be upset ok..
Manik:Ya Alya..its completely fyn..vaise bhi ham yaha khana khane nai aaye the hamara main motto to tumlogo se milna tha and we did tht na so its ok..
He says this while looking at Nandini and smirks while Nandini jst blushes.Cabir too disheartenedly says.
Cabir:Ya barbiedoll..its ok yaar..khane ka kya hai bahar se mangva lenge na bt u dnt get sad ok..
Seeing evryone's mood getting off Nandini finally speaks to cheer them up.
Nandini:Well guys..actually na vo Alya ke hath me cut agaya tha to isliye maine akele hi cook karliya tha..so u all dnt need to order food from outside.
Listening this evryone turns to her and Cabir says.
Cabir:Wat u actually cooked food na to tum ye kab batane wali thi..hamare jane ke baad kya akeli baith ke khane wali thi..
Nandini hits him slowly:Shut up Cabir..vo actually I ws nt sure whether u all will like it or not isiye nai bola ..
Cabir laughingly:Ok sry..arey ham log ab itne bhuke hai ke tum kuch bhi dogi na to ham khushi-khushi khalenge so jst chill..m to happy ke ab finally hame Ms.Nandini Moorthy ke hath se bana dish khane ka mauka milega hai na guys..to aur wait mat karao and jaldi leke aao..
Evryone agreeds with Cabir and thnx her for saving them from this starve.Seeing their hungery faces,Nandini smiles and quickly goes and brings the the food in a serving bowl.Before Nandini the dish's smell reached evryone which ws too tempting for them.
Mukti:Wow Nandini the dish's smell is only so good so cnt imagine how good the taste will be..cnt believe tum hamse ye dish chupa rahi thi..
Dhruv:Ya seriously..its smell is really good bt vaise banaya kya hai tumne..
Nandini places the bowl on the table and says.
Nandini:Thnx bt befor complimentin guys pehle taste karlo coz maybe taste utni acchi lage ya nai..by the way its Mushroom Risotto..
Evryone in unison:Whatt???
Nandini confusingly:Ya..
Mukti:Tumhe italian dish banana bhi aata hai..we didn't knew this bt seriously m impressed..
Cabir:Ya really and if m nt wrong ye to Manik ki favourite dish hai na..
Cabir looks sheepishly at both Manik and Nandini while Manik jst smiles thinking all the time she ws preparing this food for him by thinking abt him while he ws getting angry on her for stupid reasons.Nandini then pretending being unknown abt this fact says.
Nandini:Really..muje to pata hi nai tha...maine to bas aise hi banaya tha..bt anyway if u say so I hope Manik likes it then..
She looks at Manik and smirks at him while he looks at her smilingly and says.
Manik:Ya its actually my fav so thnx Nandini for making it.
Mukti:Guys leave all this and lets taste it..coz its looking really yum...aur mujse ab aur ruka nai ja raha..
Nandini then serves the dish to evryone and evryone enjoys eating it completley and after finishing it they all praises Nandini a lot which makes her embarrassd.
Alya:Seriously Nandini..ye jitna dikhne mai yum tha usse jyada tasty tha..nw nxt time ur gona teach me this dish 1st ok..
Nandini nods in agreement and then Manik too praises her.
Manik:Actually Nandini it ws really vry tasty nd also the best one I have ever tasted...really nice job I really loved it.
Nandini smiles looking at him as she got the best compliment from Manik for whom she actually did this.Manik ws also looking at her with his cute smile.Breaking their eyelock,Mukti asks Nandini.
Mukti:Vaise Nandini..tumhe italian khana banana kaise aata hai..i mean sry bt dnt mind by looking at u I thought u wud only knw indian food ...bt this ws really a good surprise for us..
Nandini:Actually Mukti..muje bachpan se cooking and baking ka shauk tha to I used to take cooking lessons thtsy muje bahut sare cuisines ke food banane aate hai..like french,thai and ofcourse italian.
Alya:Wow..nandini..thts really impresive..nw to officially I'm making u my cooking teacher so ur gona teach me everything ok..
Nandini agress smilingly and Cabir leans on manik and slowly whispers in his ears.
Cabir:Manik..seriously dude..muje zara bata ke tune kaunsa aisa gr8 kaam kiya tha jo Nandini tuje mili..i mean tujh jaise foodie ko hi itni acchi cook gf milni thi..tere to maze hai bhai..matlab future mai shadi ke bad tuje to hotel ya kisi chef ke khane ki zarurat hi nai padegi kyuki gharme hi tuje sabkuch banke miljayega..lucky bro..
Manik blushes and then playfully says :Lucky to hoga hi na afterall meri lucky charm jo hamesha mere sath hoti hai..and abt tht Nandini's cooking skills uske bare mai to muje bhi aaj hi pata chala so ya ab to muje bhi mera future kafi happening lag raha hai..aur tu tension mat le future mai kabhi-kabhi tuje bhi dinner pe bula lunga..okk
Both of them gives each other a sarcastic smile and seeing them whispering to eachother Dhruv asks.
Dhruv:Manik-Cabir..tum dono ye aapas mai kya bol rahe ho..
Both then looks at others and Cabir teasingly says.
Cabir:Vo na Dhruv mai bas Manik se ye hi bol raha tha ke Nandini ka future husband kitna lucky hoga na jo usse roz itna tasty khana khane milega..so Manik muje bol raha tha ke nt to wry coz vo uske husband se bolke hafte mai ek bar to muje nd if u all wnt thn tumlogo ko bhi dinner pe bulayega..
Nandini blushes listening this and looks at Manik shyly while everyone starts laughing.Bt our Mukti being the alltime CID officer again interrupts the fun with her questions.
Mukti:Bt Nandini ka future husband kaun hoga vo Manik ko kaise pata jo vo itna sure hokar abhi se dinner planning karraha hai..
Manik looks at Cabir sternly and then says.
Manik:Arey Mukti..ye joker to bas mazak kar raha tha..tu kya iski baato ko itni seriously le rahi hai..
Cabir then to divert the topic says to Nandini.
Cabir:Ha yaar tu bhi na..Vaise Nandini nxt time pls hamari pasand ki bhi koi dish bana dena hamesha Manik hi lucky nikalta hai...kabhi hamare bare mai soch liya karo..
Nandini blushingly:Of course Cabir..nxt time u name it and il make it for u..pakka okk..
Cabir:Thnk u vry much..mai kal hi tumhe apni fav dishes ki list deta hu..
Evryone laughs at him and then aftr spending some more fun moments then decides to call it a day.They all starts to leave wen Mukti asks to Nandini abt the gift
Mukti:.By d way tumhare gift kaha hai..show na
Nandini nervously:Vo actually na gift shop closed tha so I decided to take it 2mrw..
Mukti:Ok..so chalo mere sath I'll drop u home.
Listening this Manik and Nandini both gets sad as they wntd to go together.Evn Cabir ws aware of it so he decides to help them out so he says.
Cabir:Arey Mukti..vo n mom tuje bohot dino se milna chahti thi so tu mere ghar chal na...Nandini ko Manik drop kar dega..hai na Manik.
Manik:Yaa ya..il drop her..tumlog dono jao..
Mukti:Ok.chal fir..
They both leave from there and Cabir turns behind and winks at both of them while Manan jst smile at him and give a thanku look.Dhruv too bids Alya goodbye with a hug hidingly from evryone and heads back to his home while Manik and Nandini too goes from there smilingly together.
