Why has the AT become so slow all of a sudden? I am able to reply in time, for a change😆

A question, is age a big factor in how we behave in any given situation in life? Like I know the experience that comes only with age but can age change the instinct of a person? I believe not, instincts never change; they might soften and alter but what's in-built, remains the same, no matter what advanced age we reach and the number of times we get shaken up and betrayed by our instinctive reactions.

It's just Sadhana's mentioning the "age" word that struck this bit in my mind.

Point well raised!
Instincts never go! They vary in degree! Age is just a number! Instincts define and.confine us. They set us free too! Age just adds experiences with the kind of instincts we have! Good and bad! We try to alter them! But they don't go anywhere!

I just live by one thing in life and That is I never give up.
The only constant thing in me is I never give up.

I know that already because only this never give up attitude makes you seek, seek for the betterment. That's why you relate to this show so well. It reminds me of Manik and Nandini's first punch meet. Manik was darkness personified but he seeked, however subconsciously but he did. He, like you , has never been shown to resent LIFE and LUCK itself for ruining his life and gifting him the darkness that eats him inside, instead of the light that makes normal people's life shine. He doesn't indulge in self-pity and blame others for his own sorrows. Becaue if you do that, then you lose faith in the pleasure of living and totally make those, who you blame your unhappiness for, unhappy in return and take pleasure in it. That's what Harshad was.

So you are a seeker and seekers have to be resilient.

I am too immature for my age.May be because I never seen real world beyond my education, family , friends , job.looks like I need to go for European tour alone, explore and experience my own. 😳

Yeah I am a seeker.
But there is one thing missing in Manik. He is seeker but he wants everything according to him.
Today, He got stuck on Trust only, on that one thing only.
He is a seeker but He doesn't understand. He just sees one thing at a time.
I, even in my worst phase, always tries to understand other side.
Nothing is right and wrong in this world. Everything is right if your heart says it right, no matter what others think.
Nandini was bound to have that confusion. Even if she would have said the right thing for Manik.
And if then, She had been asked the question which Manik asked her today, She couldn't have said Yes or No. Because there is always a journey of everything..
Her mistake was that She fumbled.
I really thought Manik had the capacity to understand specially when It comes to Nyonika but He just saw one thing, He got stuck in one question. He didn't want to see beyond that.
He doesn't want to know her side of journey.
He wants perfect Nandini. He wants a perfect partner for him despite of the fact that He himself is not perfect.
I believe people grow with time Specially when there is someone soothes your heart like Nandini.
But Manik's character didn't grow for me when He got stuck on one thing only.
She pulled him out of darkness. She made him strong but when situation came, He again went back to his dark self.

I agree because that's what my experience has taught me. This is exactly why I could relate to MaNan so acutely today. The spoiler had me all ready with fangs out, I just kept thinking if Manik does what the spoiler says then it would be bad because how can Nandini love, let alone feel guilt for such a one as Manik when he is ready to disown her and drop all faith in her at even at the slightest hint of distrust from her?

But CVs and writers did so well to deliver Manik's approach to it all so beautifully. Manik's frame of mind and his words clearly showed that his confidence in nandini and her in her integrity is intact. He is hurting because of not seeing the same confidence in Nandu's eyes for himself.
Regarding his inability to listen or pay heed to Nandu's protestations of Nyonika and Cabir today, that's where I believe the instinct factors in. Which again helped me to empathise with Manik, because this quality of his to fixate himself with a fat word and zone out everything else, in the intensity and heat of the moment is the instinct which as much as defines him in a way and this will never change totally. Might alter but never change.

Examples -

Hospital scene of Nandini walking away >> his fixation with Nandu's WILLINGLY walking away

The fab5 photo shoot, dressing room sequence >>> his fixation with the word friend and hence lashing out at Nandu.

And now this...

Such beautifull consistency to characters, irrespective of the layering to them.

Dishu why you think nandu fumbled, there is one word which mythologic serials use repeatedly NIYATHI, slight different from FATE, but stronger. This will going to haunt manik in nearest future.waiting for that moment badly.looks like dishank is extended cameo.

Aditi : I really don't want to see those fireflies in future, , their theory tou utterly sucks in this show. 😆

Umm no, actually that's what I mean when I said that INSTINCTS never change. It's Manik's natural predisposition, the proclivity to react the way he does and it will never change. So for me, the growth in his character isn't linked to the things that define him and make him. It's very much like expecting somebody to grow and change his nature altogether. The basic impulse, one's nature traits never change. So his selective fixation, and zoning out the rest of the thing said is not going to change ever I guess. Look at him, he always listens and heeds later.
