Luvd your post eveline,
The one hour episodes have been executed brilliantly, beyond my expectations actually. Yeah me too cringe at their near kiss misses. I wish they stop showing them when we are absolutely sure of it not happening. I much prefer scenes where the intimacy can be subtle n more meaningful like the one on the staircase when manik was massaging nandini,s temples. They add meaning n depth.

I strongly disagree. Logic and Love does go together...I Love you for this very Logical post 👏 🤗
I am not lamenting the missed kisses at all 😊 1 hour episodes have been a delightful surprise so kudos to the team KY2...such hard work and dedication 👏 by all.
Loved the subtle play between Pandit and Manik, especially Manik's expression 👏 Superb !
BTW, Pandit has been roped in by Khurana, so at some point he is going to be a challenge and Khurana will use him to get to Manik.

They have come a long way but they have a longer way to go!! With each passing day, with each passing experience they are learning...they are adapting!! And that's how a real couple grows closer, stronger. Its not overnight, its a lifelong journey...a never ending one at that!!
Have loved their coming together so far and am super excited to see how these coming days of struggle affect them...how they learn to cope...to fight, to support and to stand with each other...so looking forward to some more conflict...confident they will emerge stronger and better at the end of it all!!

This is exactly what I would want to see. How they grow TOGETHER. rather than the usual cliches they show in each and every other show, where the chudail is successful in separating the lovers. I just hope the CVs here continue to be different from the others. The couple can fight, argue, whatever, but be Together. Because without the other they will be incomplete.

The problem with the missed kisses is the predictability of them...when this stuff starts becoming routine and predictable, then there is no point...it's like they've started thinking this is all that fans want to see...that the moment MaNan are in one frame, Manik should automatically try to kiss her and as usual something will interrupt the moment or they themselves will back out.

The general restrictions of Indian TV don't really apply to this show...as is obvious with the kind of "taboo" topics they explore and the fact that they've already shown MaNan kissing properly.

Actually the moment they showed MaNan kissing for real was the moment that there was no turning back from😆...if they hadn't shown that, most ppl would be resigned to the general norms of Indian TV which don't allow for that level of intimacy...but the fact that they've already done that and since then only shown one other kiss that too a CHEAT one...which btw is worse than even the missed kisses...that is what is annoying now.

And before any of this, no one would complain so much about these missed kisses if the story would actually move and we would get poignant scenes like the staircase Jeena Jeena one from 2-3 weeks back...but instead of that, we just get repetitive kiss attempts which everyone knows aren't going to reach a conclusion.

LOL CG, chalo finally we can agree on something after a whole week of arguing back and forth about the epis...haha

No but seriously...either show the damn kiss properly or just leave that whole topic on the side for good and focus on actual intensity building b/w MaNan...all this dilly-dallying just gets pointless and Nandu's, "Manik, this will be our last kiss" dialogues look laughable...lol...especially cuz technically they've only had TWO kisses and one of them was ridiculously cringe-worthy CHEAT shot...so two ke baad hi LAST bhi ho gaya? loll

AY - Dude, they were trying to troll her last kiss comment. Just like we all know she ain't going to Mangalore. But the problem is they execute the miss kisses the same way , like Friday episode there was no need to end each scene with these near misses. Like you said, with these cases , predictability is a huge variable, which will be lost if they continue this game for long.

Not every scene can be meaningful agreed but atleast try to make it technically different .

I am just going to have a moment here, AY and I agree, after a whole week. 😆

Yes, I can predict the pattern in my sleep also now...Manik running his hands up her arms, tucking her hair behind her ear and then leaning in...and INTERRUPTION😆...plus those scenes were like very fleeting in Friday's epi...like hardly 10 second long bits...shuru hone se pehle hi khatam...there is a lack of thehraav for MaNan on that front these days cuz they show a bazillion and one issues going on in their lives.

I mean that third kiss attempt in that epi was a little different, yeah cuz after ages he must have pulled her close like that and tried to tease her through the kiss but it was all so fleeting and wrapped up so quick that it doesn't make much of an impact.

Plus a Nandu actually LAUGHING and SMILING over the Mukti interruption of their kiss and then seeming so at ease randomly in b/w is inconsistent and at odds with a Nandu moping about having to leave...make up your damn mind😕...she can't be both...sad over leaving and then being all in the mood light hearted to kiss him😕

So then there is no conclusion left to draw but the fact that these ppl are doing timepass and deliberately avoiding setting up any situation where they can actually kiss😆
