The Free and Uninhibited Niti as Nandini...and the chemistry of MaNan !!!
As Parth pointed out so many many times ...Niti has grown in a spectacular manner as an Actress during the Journey of this show , this Post is my view on her superb Growth as an Actress and the Chemistry that is MaNan.
In the beginning I had felt that Niti was a bit inhibited...unsure ...whether to be in control or lose herself to the flow of the characte while acting...
Mostly she would try to be in control during acting and that would inhibit , restrict her performance...but fortunately for us and the KY2 team...Parth had chosen the opposite route...he would lose himself to the character while performing...not play the character...he would Be the Character...thus making everyone invested in his character and the Show itself...His turn from a One Dimensional Bully...to a conflicted...tortured...out of control...obsessive Manik was portrayed brilliantly by Parth...thus laying the foundation for the show's success.Parth and Niti's chemistry was at that time more dependent on Parth's intensity as Manik in his Obsession and Passion for Nandhini.Niti was good too but was restricted by the fact that Nandhini was still in dark about her feelings for Manik and as I said earlier she tried to be in control during the scenes.But then everything changed...the exact moment I wouldnt know...but my guess is in the Storeroom sequence...Her expressions , Dialogue Delivery was starting to be more confident , less inhibited...The way she shouts at him...this is all a Trap , this is all a Trap...they way she frowns at him when he leans into her...it marked for me the Growth in her Skills...Finally when Manik gets her off from the Cupboard...Niti portrayal of Nandhini for the first time being in lost in Manik's eyes...both Manik and Nandhini mesmerized by each other...was the first milestone of the now Legendary MaNan Chemistry... Parth and Niti's OnScreen Chemistry...If that was the stepping Stone then...the Turning point was the Drunken nandhini scenes...for the very first time...She lost herself completely to the character...swam with the flow than against it...didnt try to be in control...fearing if she would go Over the Top...She just let herself go where the character of nandhini would take her...and the result was and is still one of the most watched sequences of KY2...just Spectacular !!!
She had hit it right out of the park...so much so that...I the person who is literally Lost in every body moment of Parth ... when he is on screen in any frame ...whether only simply standing , sitting or doodling...never lift my eyes away from him...could not turn my eyes away from her in that Sequence...her Awesome Expressions and Uninhibited Dialogue Delivery demanded and got my complete attention...Only when she finished her Dialogue could i see what Parth was doing...at that time...After that sequence for me there was no looking back for Niti...she had found that ...going with the flow of the character, loosing control to the emotions of the character, shedding her inhibitions...would Enable her so much and enhance the character of Nandhini Murthy...and thus the Legend began...Parth's out of the world intensity , Obsession and Passion as Manik and Niti's Delicate , Subtle and Irresistible Charm and Innocence as Nandhini Murthy have created the MindBlowing Magic that is MaNan !!!!!
