Exactly, they are actually indicating towards the social stigma attached to the mental sickness, Khuranna thinks it's all anger and her stubbornness , he is ignoring it because like many in this country and around the world , think , being mental patient is a bad thing , they are ashamed of it. Nandini and Manik will always have conflicts because frankly that is how a story progresses and a show runs. What is special with them is not this Soha or Khuranna but their internal dynamics.
