Today's epi was really good!
Except for the bottom half of that dress. That was ugly!
The first scene - we have been wanting this conflict and assessment of priorities. It shows that they have yet to learn more about one another and that he needs to understand that these things are important to her, she likes being regimented.
Him asking her for a date and her smile. Oh man. To be 17 again. This was where M smartly moves away from the friendzone into the boyfriend zone.
NavNi conversation and the excitement - AGAIN, OH TO BE 17 AGAIN. This was such a sweet cute scene. The first first bubbly feelings, the nervousness, the best friend telling you what to wear so that you look your best. UFF, the giggles and the hugs because you cannot contain your excitement and nervousness and all those bubbly feelings
Mukti-Cabir-Navya - A much needed scene. Mukti is taking her time to listen to Navya as she grapples with this phase in her life. It was mature and very sensitive. Even the scene with Mukti receiving the smileys, I thought it was well executed. It felt that she realised that for the first time there is a guy who didn't leave, at least not because of her.
The realisation that she loves him...they replayed all the scenes, and Khurrana's words were weighing on her. It's not that she did not know. She knew. She has known since the fireflies glowed. But she pushed it far far away, stamped on it, locked it up and buried the key when he broke her heart. All Khurrana did, was to remind her. Was to make her acknowledge out loud that yes, she loved Manik. I thought it was a good scene...with her re-affirming as she remembered those precious and some poignant moments spent with him.
I just hope that there is no sacrifice shit happening. Is all.
