Manan OS "Tune jo na kaha" Part 5

Nandu entered kitchen to cook for rishab (though manik bought dinner)as he loves onion parathas for dinner...and she started cutting onions and because of that her eyes turned teary just then somehow manik without chachi's notice entered kitchen...he came closer to her...saw her in tears...

Manik: Nandini...look nandini...im really really sorry ...please don't cry...jitney punches maarna hai maarlena...make me ur punching bag for lifetime...but please don't...(Nandu looked at manik amused and was trying to hide her smile...she just turned away and was cutting onions)

Seeing that manik gently cupped her face and turned it towards his...and was wiping her tears..

Nandini : Manik wat r u doing... (she looked at him angrily and gestured towards the onions which she was cutting)

Manik : Oh...ok..ok..so these made u cry...(he was kind of relieved) acha u move...give it here..il cut ..how dare they make u..(just then nandu looked at him angrily infact she was trying hard to do that)

Nandini : yeah how dare they make me cry ye right sirf tumhara hai na...mujhe rulane ka..

Manik was feeling too guilty then..: Nandini just move il cut them..

Nandini: tumse ek lime ni cut hota...and u'l cut onions..? (nandini asked raising her eyebrows)

Manik : tumhare liye onions kya mai...(again nandu was looking seriously at him)...okies no cheesy lines..

By then manik already snatched the cutter from her...

Nandini: manik give it back...mai karlongi...ul cut ur finger...please give it back..ab dekho u r pissing me off..itz almost done just this one is left...

Manik : okay but il wait til u r done...( he handed over to her..and stood there silently like cute little boy while she was cutting...every time her hair fringe was over her face.. he was gently moving it from her face..putting it behind her ears..and every time tears trailed he was wiping gently..nandu was speechless at that..she felt like hugging him tight)

Manik : Nandini mujhe tumse baat karni hai...

Nandini: haan bolo...

Manik: Not here!!

Nandini: Hmm...im not coming anywhere with u...(trying to sound angry)

Manik : Okay miss moorthy...mai toh aaj ni jaana wala...(he pulled her closer and whispered)
Just den chahchi called manan for dinner...nd nandu was done making parathas..nd everybody sat for dinner..

Nandini: Chachi aaj chacha ni aaye abi tak itz already 9..

Chachi: haan beta aaj chacha ka night shift hai..

Manik: (thinking): Wow!! Dis is perfect...

At dinner table nandini was sitting opp to manik...and manik was just romantically looking at nandu all the while and doing all kind of mischevious things like touching her feet with his toe fingers gently...no matter how much nandu tried to move her legs..finally nandu got pissed and hit his leg hard with hers..

Manik: Ouch..(he screamed and food got choked and started coughing)

Chachi: Manik kya hua..lo paani piyo..(she gently patted his back..but nandu it was her chance to smile mischeviously)

Nandini: chachi..relax kuch ni hua..aapk manik ko

Chachi : chup kar..idhar aana aur dhere se sailana(gently pat his back) mai paani laati hoo..

Manik was really coughing and his eyes were watering seeing that nandu got worried..she came by his side started patting his back...

Nandini(tensed): manik kya hua..(as soon as chachi brought water..nandu took from her hand and she made manik drink)

Manik: im fine...kuch ni chachi just spicy than na isliye (looking at nandu)

Chachi: haan beta tumhe theeka khane ki adat ni hogi na..nandu tum raitha chawal khilana manik ko (chachi left with rishab to put him to sleep)

Nandini sat beside manik and served him

Manik: got scared ?(smiling at her)

Nandini: Don't u knw khate jab baat ni karte..(manik was all pleased)

Chachi came down and asked nandu to arrange bed for manik in rishab's room

Nandini: kya? Lekin kyu chachi..

Chachi: manik ne abi bataya tha kay usk ghar pest control chalra..toh bichara kaise rahega waha pe..itni raat hogayi..yaha hamare saat rahega..waise tere chacha bi ni hai..aur aaj kal hamari locality bilkul safe ni hai...jaa na aur jaldi se arrange kar..

Manik was all the while smiling at nandu and she was speechless..

And after everyone retired to their rooms..manik messaged nandini

Manik: come to terrace..im waiting( nandini ignored an tried sleeping but in vain..)

Manik: im waiting I won't leave from here until u come..

Manik: nandini itz freezing cold..please aajao...

Manik: fine...so u r not coming..uh.!!...now il b coming to u r room..choice is urs..nandu..

Finally in few minutes nandu went to terrace carrying manik's jacket...she was looking for him but didn't find him...Nandini: kaha gaya?

just then she felt a warm back hug ..she was startled first and as the hug tightened she tried moving away

Nandini(in low voice): manik leave me...(she tried to free herself..but manik gently tightened his hug and she finally gave in. and stood there itself..)

Manik bent a little caressing hair over her ears with his pointed nose..in low husky voice he said

Manik: nandini i got to knw everything...cabir ne bataya mujhe...i...i..try to not hurt u..but I eventually end up doing that..i always make u cry..i am sorry nandini...I knw mai bhoot bura hoo..monster hoo

Nandini(instinctively): don't say that..aisa kuch ni hai...

Manik: woh car mein jo maine kaha...people come and go in our lives..so u really thought of urself as one of those ppl??(he turned nandu making her face him)

Nandini just looked away..then manik gently turned her face making her to have an eyecontact...

Manik: ye teen din maine kaise guzarein...i felt...suffocating...it was hard to breathe..even music didn't make me feel better...nd u really think..in my life ur place is just aate jaate log...(he was sounding full of guilt and also hurt)

Nandini: aisa ni hai..woh...haan as if ye teen din maine khushi khushi guzari hoo(she looked at him and smiled in a flirty manner)

Manik seeing her smile was finally relieved and he now tried looking angry and pulled her closer and asked: kal college mein kya kaha tha tumne..."my world" aur kya kaha tha "my priorities" how can u say that..miss moorthy..hw can u?

Nandini cutely held her ears saying sorry...manik smiled at that and held her hands...

Nandini: uss din jab mai farmhouse se wapus hori thi chachi called up and said kay rishab ku attacks aye and she was taking him to hospital...manik I was supposed to b with him lekin mai...

Manik: im sorry...im really sorry ye sab meri wajah se hua...I should have understood abt soha's intentions when u were trying to tell me..

He kissed her forehead and den said: agar kabi bi gussa aya mujhpe toh come and punch me..hit me..but aise mujhe kabhi ignore mat karna...aur aisi waisi baatein toh bilkul ni...suna tumne miss moorthy

Nandini smiled and rose on her toes to kiss manik on his forehead..but she couldn't reach so just ended up all blushing...Manik was all looking at her in a teasing manner...seeing that gesture of her..he bend a little...but this time nandu reached his forehead but instead kissed him on his cheek...and manik pulled her into a hug...

Manik then broke the hug and checked time in his watch asked nandu to turn right and look at the sky ..

Nandini: kyu manik...waise ruku..(and she covered him with his jacket which she brought)

Manik: hmm..meri jacket..soo u didn't throw away..(he removed) waise mard ko...

Nandini: mard ko dard nahi hota...but thand toh lagti hogi na...wear it..if u catch cold who is going to sing...

Manik was laughing hearing that he removed the jacket covered nandini and back hugged her..

Manik: see..dis is called body heat transfer

Nandini: Manik!! She tried pushing him...(both bursted out laughing)

Manik: ab just look there (he pointed towards the sky)...and countdown frm 10...

Nandini: kyu?

Manik: just do it...

As soon as she ended counting...fireworks started..illuminating the entire sky...

Nandini was amused...and her happiness has no bounds...manik was just glancing nandu and capturing her every expression of happiness...

After 12mins...

Manik: acha nandini ab chalo lets sit over there(he said by pointing to direction opp to fireworks )

Nandini: lekin manik fireworks dey r still going on...how can we see if v sit there...?

Manik: ab dekhliya na nandini...lets sit there...(he was dragging her to opp side)

Nandini: Manik mujhe dekhna hai...till it ends..

Hearing that manik was scratching his head and doing all tactics to turn her away but in vain..

Just then fireworks displayed name..."neha" And nandini saw dat...

Nandini: Manik!!! Neha?? Neha kaun hai..(she punched him)

Manik: ouch...nandini...woh..listen actually...wen I was near ur home I saw a man arranging fireworks for his fiance.. so I enquired ...toh he said kay first ten minutes..he agreed to give to me..( manik was literally eyeing nandu like a kid got caught munching muffins)

Nandini(who was trying hard to hold her laughter): Manik u r impossible!!..

She was hitting him and pushing him and manik was all in laughing riot..

Nandini: Pehli baar ka set up woh bechare dhruv ka tha aur tumne chance maara tab...and nex tym new yrs...abhimanyu ne kiya tha arrange...aur aaj ...

Manik: chance maara!! Nandu kaisi baatein karri hai..(he was laughing uncontrollably)

Manik: ok..ok..but I really suck in planning things like this..i don't get ideas..(he came closer to nandu..mischeviously)

Nandini: haan...u get ideas only for these things haan?(indicating at his proximity)

Manik biting his lip(smiling): what to do..i just can't get enough of u...I wish I could rob u away from this world...

Nandini was speechless at that she was blushing while looking away...nd then they both sat staring the sky...

Nandini: manik...u and dhruv these days I hardly see u both bonding...sab theek hai na?

Manik: haan nandini...everything iz cool...

Nandini: hmm..i feel bad for him..

Manik: wat?? Hmmm(lil jealous)

Nandini: acha u remember he said that while playing the game he kissed some girl..so do u knw who Is she?

Manik: arrey haan...no...never asked him

Nandini: hw cud u...u shud have tried to knw na...

Manik: yeah...lets do that...

Manik was telling nandu abt their album and was about to tell her the song he wrote he realized that nandu has already dozed off on his shoulder...he was at peace looking at her...then he gently carried her in his arms took to her room ..tucked her under the blanket...gently caressed her cheeks...

Then he brought the bag of gift which he hid earlier..nd took out the teddy bear with "hug me" written on it and gently placed it so that nandini cuddles up with the teddy and then put small gift box...nd left..after placing a forehead kiss...
