As far the sequence is concerned - watch it again, she saw something is a miss , was going to tell Manik who she has already warned about Soha's potential threat but she saw Cabir , she almost gave up and resigned that these guys can handle themselves , her this effort is more about her being impulsive
Which like hypocrisy is a very basic human trait, have we ever always been rational. She cannot share that she saw Soha hallucinating just now because there is concrete proof with her that this girl is seriously ill.
At 17 , how hard it is to know that usually sensible person can be impulsive . Is this not what Manik has done to her , made her live for the moment, throw her logic out and follow what her gut is saying.
I would have called it character assassination or something is Nandu didn't see Soha being freaky or she didn't contemplate that fab5 could possibly handle it.
Just that in the last moment , her resolve broke down, she gave in to the impulse.
