@Flamey - We be around , you fangirl !!

@Boxy I think the purpose of this OTT wooing by Abhi is basically to get the conventional, loving girl out of this tough exterior. She once was the regular, vulnerable girl who was wounded so bad that she built guards that could never be broken by anyone else. They want to portray it as Abhi sweeping her off her feet. Showing her what a NORMAL cheesy lovey-dovey relationship can be. Sure, she won't open up to him soon but persistence is a strong weapon. Abhi never gives up. He makes her get out of her shell and do something against her general character.It's a beautiful simplistic way if you see it.

The problem here lies in the death angle. Why did they have to kill the guy? Couldn't he be a hopeless optimist who fell for a girl. The 6 months thing is too much to take.
Take it from the girl who felt depressed for a whole 2 days after reading TFiOS.

The hindrance to what could be a good story is also the terrible acting.
Charlie is so bad at being cute. She ain't the regular girl.
Abhi, well. The sickness was so unconvincing. Horrible acting. Plus, these two have ZERO chemistry.

This , S&S 🤗

Persistence is the word, problem is I get all this but execution is so lacking. If I don't see the real change in Mukti , i won't buy Abhi's efforts. Like you said , it's also the chemistry, and Charlie just has such a one-dimensional take to Mukti , she cannot switch on and off . Like her expressions are contriving , Zain is trying and actually mushiness works with his bad acting just together they are not in sync with each other.
Execution is failing them, lame promotional scenes don't help them too.

Omg agree so much about the terrible acting. I was laughing my head off at his 'pain' today, it was sooo bad. He should stick with the light and the cheese for now, really. 😆

See that's the thing. You can't have it both ways. Either you give Mukti a strong, loyal partner who will stop her tirade of self-pity and depression and then leave after she's found her own feet, or you give her the sweetest guy in the world who gives her true love and stays. Right now Abhi comes off as a liar by omission, leading her on when he knows she has abandonment issues. So problematic.

@genie Hieee! ☺️
I thought the whole point of MukhBi is him getting her to believe in love again. Open up to the fact that the feeling can be real and true and genuine without any hidden agendas. Pure uncomplicated love.

If she falls in love again and moreover believes it can be possible for her to do so, maybe she will open her heart to someone else again if Abhi dies.
Atleast her scar will be healed.

@Boxy He is not aiming at her leaving him once she finds her feet. Atleast I hope not.

I guess its about them being together till his end.

When he's gone, she cry at the unfairness of the world, of God, curse him for coming into her life. But what will be undeniable is the love they shared. True.
Her heart will be whole again after it was ripped to shreds by Harshad.

@So_Naley - Dude that was my thought when this track started, think I jostled with foxy about it too few days back but I concede now , the execution is not doing justice to it. I get Abhi is here to just make Mukti appreciate life and in unconditional love sort of a thing , the problem apart from random cheesy scenes we are not getting any Mukti progress or growth scenes. She is so constricted around him and that is where her whole growth rests.I don't see a change in Mukti , post Abhi.
Liek Bira's growth is reflected in his bond with Manik,Nandini and his mom, Mukti is just soley focused around Abhi and beyond him she still seem like the same chick.

@Fox - Oh i trust you , friends do that usually.

@Khyati: But how is it true love if we don't get to see why he fell for her? Right now she seems like an item on his bucket-list that he has to cross out. A project more than anything else. It works with Nandini because he's more like her friend-philosopher-guide than anything else, but with Mukti there has to be a deeper connection for it to work.
