Musicana night...YES. Lets talk. In retrospect it was beautiful. Watching it without Manik & Dhruv's background, that too on one episode a day was a torture.

@Genie, I have been missing your words. Exactly that was my eureka moment as well. If Manik had not crossed the line she would not have caught the bait. If you notice closely,she is initially in shock but the moment the sticker thing happens it changes to disgust. She bought it just then and the flashbacks happen. really well executed,acted and written.
Loved your analysis on Why M doesnt name the emotion. Did a bit of my analysis too. Want you to read😳 its on pg 90 or 91

@TFQ Manik comparing her to stars is not perfection and as Boxy alluded its Nandu who promised to shine for him hamesha.
In this context Manik perceives her as his moral compass,unwavering,shining,and warm. Its his home and his constancy. Its my favourite metaphysical reference and I used it in the post with Boxy.

@Love- reading now.
@TFQ - For Manik, Nandini is alag, different and special, because of her virtues , her strength and her resolve- these are few things which make her the star she is, but for him she shines because she is the guiding light, the calmness , his happiness , she gives him that assurance of being with him always just like stars did back when his days were all about darkness.
Also , for Nandini , Manik is different, he like her is loyal to the fault, selfless , noble , moral and everything, these are the qualities she knows he has and that is why she fell for him. He gives her the courage with his words, his presence to be like her fireflies and fight her darkness.

@TFQ whats with new writers?
If you look at the sequence of events in Musicana, there is a sense of urgency but it was somehow restrained in its fervour. I don't know if that made sense. When it happened in real time it seemed so drawn out and frankly unsettling but now that I've watched it in one sitting,there is a definite sense of 'coming undone'.

The convo Manik and Cabir have just before he rushes to meet her and say 'goodbye' in his twisted way. That convo had so many layers we should definitely discuss that.
The moment Manik tells..no orders cabir not to call her a bi***,that to me was the turning point in the audience understanding of ManBir's friendship also.

Doc, Freud again, huh? That was seriously impressive. And sexy, of course. You just intimidated me a little more. 🤓
@MKB: Hi. 😳

I loved how he stood up for Nandini even when he was not in his right mind
The moment Cabir badmouthed about her he immediately warned him to not to say that again!

Yeah in a romantic mood okay...
So Genie mujhe dekhke sharam kahe? What tingling feeling are you getting? Come on tells me ☺️

Writers have changed for the show from episode 96.
True, it made more sense in one sitting...it was a nice track and was truly a turning point in all their lives.

ManBir scene, thats the second time I think Manik was so emphatic about Nandini in from of Cabir. He vouched for her. The love talk..uff.
