Couldn't make sense of Manik's dialogue!

What did Manik want to convey by saying that 'I will protect them just as you protect me. You are my shining star.'?

I could really not understand what he meant to convey.

Nandini, how does she protect him? By being there like a star does?

Um, I'm at a loss. 😕

Please explain.

Nandini doo protect him ..his biggest fear ..darkness...she is the only one hu knws his this side of vulnerability and its only her hu is always concerned abt his fear abt darknes..soo whch means ..nandu had always protected him ..not just frm darkness ...remeebr he even tried to kill harshad ..even aftr break up she joined hands vth fab5 just for protecting manik ...just for him ...soo thrs a point in wat he said ..she always protected him...

If u r not a regular viewer of ky2 n haven't watched all the previous episodes then it's difficult to make u understand buddy!
Nandini has always calmed him down n given solutions of his dilemmas! he finds peace being wid her, feels that nandini has all d solutions for his pains n problems; nandini's words give him peace! so, hr feels protected being around or wid nandini!
n if u have n still not understanding then may be u r unable to connect wid the show! 😊

Its somethng whch is yet to b showed ..since u havent watchd the full show ..u might not knw tht this guy havent named the thng betwen thm as Love...Soo just wait ..till he name this feelings as love ..and for now ..i guess..this confession is apt ..much into maniks character ..😊

he's not justified anything.. he's just expressed how badly he needs her! like his friends, he also want someone who can protect him n only nandini can do dat..
nandini herself accepted being his shining star! it's not about always the solution or justification! it's about they both feel d need of each other equally!

@Niya and @fan: I have watched the whole show. Just finished a week back. I was just confused because of the fact that he did not give a straight answer to the question Nandini asked him.

then u may have not watched today's episode properly! Manik answered directly that if such circumstance arises again then he'd chose his friends again! but he answered it why..

He will choose his friends. They are his responsibility. But she's gotta choose him.

Manik said

1. He always have to be with his friends

2. He has to protect them

3.Nandu protects him always

As a result, Nandu also has to be with him always just like the way he is there for his friends. Hence, they will always be together. He conveyed that just the way his friends need him, he will need her always.Without her, who will protect him, save him from his darkness. And if he is only not saved, how is he gonna save/protect anyone. So he was saying his life depends on her being there for him. She will be the reason for his existence. She is not just his desire, but his need. Another thing that I interpreted from what he said that when the matter comes between choosing his friends and her, actually he has no choice, despite Nandu being his need. He HAS TO BE with them. Has to be. But nandu has a choice to let him go/not let him go. The choice rests with Nandu.
