Manik has ALWAYS had the Fab 5 to fall back on and divert his mind...that's his defense mechanism...to avoid any emotional complications, he focuses on his friends and his music...

Nandu has had no real friendships here from day one...woh khud hi survive kar rahi hai...even when the Fab 5 were bullying her and even now when Manik has broken her heart and left her as a mere shadow of her vibrant self.

Sad thing is, even if Nandu finds genuine friendship in new guy, Manik will just come over and do tod phod in his mindless jealousy...

The difference between the Nandini who schooled Manik earlier was that she was confident and sure of herself. This boy made her give up her faith in herself and what she believes.

..she has to regain that confidence then only she can anchor him...if she keeps getting lost in all this drama its not going to help her at all...she is way too alone ..she need some space..need to be away from fab 5 n manik...

You know what I found veryu interesting , she straight up told him that dude - we give hurt and pain to each other. This guy didn't refute it at all. She went on a guilt trip about his hand, he stood there.

All he wanted was her to be near him, he didn't exactly hear what she was asking him. That is my problem. She legit told him her fears and he does nothing. Gives her an ultimatum and holds his Zid.

Yes Nandini cannot leave him ,she told him that yes she cares and she will, that doesn't mean their thing will work or make sense right now. it is toxic because even when they are communicating , they both are internalizing it in different ways.

If Nandu's kiss, hugs and her care contradicts her decision of walking away, then why cannot Manik notice that what is it that is scaring Nandini from taking this chance?

She was more like , dude I love and care for you but together right now our shit is too difficult to handle, it's messing with who i am as a person. We need space and break, this all, he never denied.

And neither did he promise her that he wont leave her if anything like this ever happens in the future because right now he himself is not sure

Woh jo ek point hota hai in a love story where you want to see the girl being CHERISHED...it's all lost...NO ONE understands Nandu's pain...Manik is the WORST equipped person to even begin to know how to deal with someone else's pain...he will only act immaturely...aur expect bhi kya karo isse.

And the biggest problem is that no one wants to talk things out...they'd rather stew in their egos and martyr complexes.

The amount Nandu has cried these past few days, you'd think the writers would take pity on us for that simple reason only and give Manik SOME akkal about trying to make it up to Nandu...but no, we get nothing of that sort.

Exactly. The reason that KY2 resonates with a lot of us is Nandini. Manik-type bad boys always have this ascending character graph, nothing new about that. But Nandini, this girl, she has so many shades to her, so much potential that diluting her entire existence into revolving around Manik is just plain injustice. That is not how this love story can progress. There are some things Manik will just have to learn on his own, how will his character progress otherwise? You can't make everything about the guy and forget the girl's individuality. No need to make Nandini his personal Florence Nightingale. The writers have been great with Nandini mostly, and I'm hoping this new Abhi-guy will be the healing she needs.

I mean I wanted him to tell her that the hand went bad because of his stubbornness, she did all she could. She never gave up on that hand while his friends , he never bothered.

Her problem is ans why their relationship doesn't make sense right now even with all the love is that , he used his hand because she worries to get her close to him . Hurting himself, so that Nandini can be around him. That shit is toxic. That is why when she says , you don't care about yourself - is a big thing. Because , unless he makes it about himself, whatever thing will happen to him , would always make Nandini guilty. She will always evaluate herself.
