The thing Manik is damn bothered about her tears but he never SAYS anything about it. Yeah, actions speak louder than words and he's always seen wiping away her tears and shaking his head at her to stop her from crying but kabhi bolta nahin ke Nandini, please..no more crying. Please, please, please. The one time we got him legit addressing her tears was during his room full of sorry apology. How BEAUTIFUL was that..

"they are nothing compare to the tears you have cried because of me.."

And the biggest problem is that no one wants to talk things out...they'd rather stew in their egos and martyr complexes.

The amount Nandu has cried these past few days, you'd think the writers would take pity on us for that simple reason only and give Manik SOME akkal about trying to make it up to Nandu...but no, we get nothing of that sort.

@Maisu - That Manik was all love. he was so insistent on making her happy , not cry ...he seemed to genuinely regret it. It seemed he finally learnt from the whole Dhruv thing but what the boy does, gets pissed at her for not accepting her apology and makes it a game between them.

The problem is, if Nandini thinks Manik will always come after her, he too takes it for granted that she will always be in his orbit somehow. Post-Musicana, it was Dhruv and his own inability to leave her alone. And after she refused to accept his apology, he discovered how worried she was for him and began to deliberately use that to bring her around. And he's still doing that, despite her telling him how much it hurts her. Stubborn, foolish gadha. Which is why Nandini needs to get away instead of following him around all the time. Find her own thing, discover her smile again, away from him. So that he understands that her life cannot always be about him.

To him , in his head - Apology acceptance = Nandu back in his life.

I cannot help but think of that Manik who saw her question her beliefs , feelings , fireflies ... Was it not him who was curious about fireflies, he could sense that she lost something major but somehow it all ended up being "saving Manik from himself" sort of track, which pisses me.
