Yep yep. The week's been awesomesauce. As is this post.

Bolt, thank you for putting this out in the forum, where there are more tears than in Nandini's eyes, I swear. This has been an excellent week for us MaNan fans, and KY2 in general. 5 day wonder, huh? 😆

I LOVED that whole 'Never-have-I-ever' game they played. We were having this great discussion today about the bad old bullying days (the famous punch scene, to be precise), and it's AMAZING to see just how far not just Manik-Nandini but the Fab5 as an entity has come. So much change, so much progress, so much character development, and all it took to establish was them just sitting down on the floor and playing this game, laughing and joking around, being the teens that they are. Watching it made me so happy.

& MaNanBir are the shizz. They are SO SO good. The CabIni conversation...oof.
"Never have I ever...got hurt in love"
"If it doesn't hurt, it's not love. But you know it better than anyone else, don't you?"
*dead*

These two are the most level-headed characters on the show. And watching them just...get each other, the beginning of a mutual understanding and respect...it's something we have all wanted for so long. And it was way better than anything we had ever expected. Easily one of my all-time KY2 favourite scenes.

Baba's dance toh...cuteness overload. I've never seen anything more gif-worthy. Every single frame of it.😆 And his lifting her up into the air and just grinning up at her...*fangirl swoon*

And before I get to the REALLY good bits...Navya grew a quarter of a brain! Mukti grew a somewhat empathetic heart! And Harshad got bitch-slapped by Manik's Mommy. All reasons to celebrate. 😆😆😆

Also, I have an increasing fondness for Dhruv-Alya. Especially her telling him straight out that she is not going to be a rebound for him. It's such a rare thing to see on Indian tv. I love these little surprises KY2 keeps throwing at us. And Alya has progressed beautifully imo.

The whole kidnap-Nandini plan was such a Manik thing to do, really. Rile her up till she explodes and lets it all out. Baba thinks it's a piece of cake. And later he finds it's a cake he'll have to bake first, from scratch. 😆

Again, Cabir and Manik's phone conversation. Tender Love & Care. I see what you did there with both 'love' and 'care', Bolt. And you're so right. That's them. The coffee, him serenading her, her forgiving him instantly when she saw her stubbornness was hurting him, and finally...that conversation we had all been waiting for. Both told each other how they had disappointed the other. And this was needed. The hurt, the anger... it's gone. And what's coming will be beautiful to see. Nandini trying and failing to walk away from Manik. She might have lost her courage now but every time he is hurt, she will find it in herself to come back. And she will trust him to never leave her alone again. Why? Because he needs her desperately, and this time he is not going to be able to hide it, from her or himself or the world. The love will find a voice of its own.

P.S- Do write something on the "If Manik had not fainted..." part. Would love to read and join. 😊

If this is rambling I wonder how you are when coherent because WORD.

I totally loved the Dhruv/Aliya convo. There was something very mature about it. They didn't deny the kiss nor did they suddenly fall in love. They addressed it. The knew their friendship was worth more than a rebound. The writers I tell you, they're amazing.

And Navya/Mukthi. I dig their chemistry I really do. Their unlikely friendship feels so... real. Two heart broken girls. I'm really looking forward to seeing where they take this equation.

PS- Maybe I'll write an angsty OS. But it's a nice angle to think about. Would Manik have gone after her? Would they have truly stayed away from one another? Kostins. So many kostins. :')

Stay away? Never.
Methinks Manik might have regressed into his recklessly violent, self-destructive ways. And this time, he would make sure to do it all in front of her eyes. As if he were screaming- "Watch, Nandini. Watch what I become without you." He wouldn't have gone after her as such, but he would definitely find some twisted way to get her attention. Because that's Manik- he desperately wants her attention.
And Nandini being Nandini, would have had to step in and drag him back from that edge. He would fight her, she would simultaneously yell at him and pacify him, and the cycle would start all over again, but this time both would be aware of how terrible it is to be without the other.

Tbh, the track coming up could do all this as well.

I want to read that angsty OS, Bolt! Write write!

Great post! Indeed it was an amazing week like it has been so far. I would rather say, what an amazing 100th episode it was! Hats off to the CVs for coming up with the idea and then, my kisses to Parth and Niti for executing the scenes so beautifully. What scene it was, really?? I was astonished, touched, wounded on how much feelings they have put into Manik and Nandini's characters. From the love to the pain, every single bit of their interaction was absolutely worth watching. I couldn't be more attentive than I was when I watched that particular hospital scene. I ended up just staring at these two. Manik and Nandini have reached to a different level and surprisingly they themselves haven't realized it yet. Nandini, might have known this emotion from the beginning, but what she has felt now was even better and beautiful. The way she always manages to sense the danger in Manik's life and how she manages to make him walk on her path to heal his wounds was always so significance. Even now, when she realized that all this is happening because how difficult they are for each other and how she wants to stay away from him for his benefit just breaks my heart. This girl has a lot mental abilities to digest all the worries and stress, where as Manik has the ability to be stubborn. I just love, love and absolutely love the part where she just laid her head on his chest and like you mentioned, felt the warmth from his body. The way she cried, opened herself in front of him while he stayed unconscious was so remarkable. You could feel her emotions, her intensity of love for him that demands her to stay away from him for their betterment. Her decision isn't fair but this girl always think about how she can benefit someone while her actions might cause her immense pain. Every bits of her tears and talks spoke the value of Manik's life. How important he has become for her. She took all the guilt in her to doubt her sensibility. The kisses from her to his forehead and cheek was so heartbreaking. She wanted to feel him one last time before she took off and got away from him. The way she finally said a goodbye through her physical gesture was so painful.

And Manik.. How calmly he just laid there. He sensed it was Nandini when he regained his consciousness. The way he called out to her like it was just the end of everything. I am enjoying these interactions.. It has deep meanings and I am glad how CVs are gradually making way of their final realization of love and confession. It's all beautiful!
