"Gah" Nandini turned surprised her hand on her heart, only to see Manik in her room. It took him mere seconds to cross the room and overshadow her body with his huge and sturdy one, "Manik, what are you doing in my room, I'm only towel clad, Goo. "she said visibly flustered and pushed him unsuccessfully towards the door.. Manik made a clicking sound and nodding his head in negative leaned in closer breathing in her fresh minty fragrance, but Nandini retracted and retraced her steps till she reached the wall now trapped under Manik's intense gaze and his arms, "Now where are you gonna go Nandini, no escaping me. " His eyes burning with such intensity which Nandini believed couldn't exist, but it did exist in Manik's eyes only for her. He raised a finger gently tracing his fingers over delicate facial features.

Nandini closed her eyes in muted pleasure as she felt his lips trace the track his fingers had left not a minute ago, letting him take charge of her heart and body. He slowly moved her wet hair to one side, placing both his hands on either of her shoulders he traced his hands down her bare arms, leaving Nandini feeling burnt where he had touched moments ago, intertwining their hands he leaned in to her neck, sucking the water droplets that came his way, teasing him, tempting him and Nandini only stood there letting him touch her till she turned into a mindless mess, she had absolutely no control over her mind and body when he was around it felt like he took charge over her brains and heart when he was there.. Her fingers scrunched the shirt at his shoulder in a fist as he played havoc on her senses, kissing her, touching her, exerting his rights over her.

He traced his path up to her lips and stopped for a second. Taking in her beautiful flustered face, looking at her he felt as if he had fallen in love all over again with his adorable childwoman all over again. Nandini opened her eyes feeling Manik stop, seeing him look at her with such devotion made her feel giddy with love, she felt worshipped by him in that moment, such was the submission and love reflected in his eyes for her.

Feeling suddenly brave she took a plunge ahead, putting her palms on either side of his face, she leaned in and placed her lips on his,igniting the passion which was temporarily dormant in the moment of adoring. His arms went around waist, clasping them tightly around her, she went up on her toes to kiss him, craning her neck up, pulling her up by an arm, Manik made her stand on his toes, kissing her to eternity, drinking in her taste, her grip on his shirt tightened feeling him sprawled all over her, whilst his fingers knotted in her hair, his body a live wire, very aware of Nandini's frail form plastered against his sturdy one. He had always loved this thing about them, she was short and frail & exuded warmth a complete contrast to his personality, she was a perfect fit to his misfit being. He loved her and that was the only truth of his existence, he would never for anything or anyone in the world let go off her, he needed her to survive, to be able to breath, thinking of the horrible days when he had pushed her away from himself made him tighten his grip on her.

Breaking away from him Nandini asked Manik her tone tender , " Hey you okay? " her voice breathless, palms on his cheeks, concern etched over her face for him. Manik smiled his insides warm and giddy with Nandini's love, "Ofcourse I am, when you're there praying for me, shining for me, nothing can ever go wrong. " Kissing her forehead he pulled her in his arms, Nandini wrapped her arms around him fiercely resting her head on his broad chest, at peace.

They stood there for a while not saying anything, just hugging each other. Finally Nandini moved back breaking the hug,"Manik " she said "Hmm " he replied not paying much attention yet in a trance, "I'm standing in a towel since the past half an hour, I need to change. " The look on Manik's face was priceless when she said that, "Twice, that was twice since morning Nandini, god you're such a mood killer, given the way you called out my name I thought you'd say something romantic but you killed the mood again, you literally killed it. "

Nandini laughed out loud listening to his complaining rant and moved to her cupboard to pick her outfit for the day, "That's me Manik Malhotra " she said and chuckled again. She had already settled on a white one when Manik came from behind resting his chin on her shoulder he exclaimed startling her, "No you look way too hot in this one for anyone to notice you" "Huh " Nandini said not being able to come up with any reply to his indirect compliment, "Not the blue one either, it looks too unflattering on your frame " "What? " Nandini asked in surprise, turning around she checked him for fever, "What are you doing Nandini, I'm perfectly okay " "You aren't behaving but, weren't you the one to say all this is too mushy and boring to help your girlfriend select her outfit and go shopping with her. " she asked her eyebrows raised, "God you dwell on every word I say do you," he asked chuckling, on getting no response he continued "Well I thought helping for a change wouldn't hurt would it? He said smiling a bit.

"You're so cute Manik " Nandini said pulling his cheeks knowing very well it irked him when she called him these names. "Don't call me cute Nandini I'm not cute. " he said glaring at her. Chuckling she turned back to her wardrobe, they finally settled on a black one, having dressed up they both stepped out of Nandini's home and headed for Manik's home deciding to go to college together. Hands intertwined they walked to his car, talking, their constant bantering back with a bang, looking the unusual couple they were..

There I'm done posting the part, already said turned out to be mushy, so all the tomatoes and sandals accepted, no eggs please me be a shuddh shakahari 😛. Definitely drop in your likes and comments love reading them. 😃
