Manik loves making Nandini happy. She had told him in the storeroom how much she loves fireflies, what hope they give her. And he has seen for himself how happy the sight of glowing fireflies makes her. Till now he has been focused on taking away her hurt through his apology. Next step is to make her happy again. And there's no way Manik is going to forget about those fireflies- this is the same boy who leapt around trying to catch one for her; she never had to ask.

Uff I really don't like the sight of Manik in that hospital bed. Get him out of it pronto so he can go chasing his Nandu again.

I think if tomorrow's scene is real, it will be so good for them. Manik will realize that Nandu's is not walking away , she is fearful about them being together , his focus will shift in selling her their idea aka true love via fireflies.
