not resorting to the cliches is a thing KY2 writers do great and what makes the show fresh and special too... they truly have handled many of the situation realistically, even the controversial sacrificing track...its stupid but many teenagers who are overly attached to friends and the concept of perfect friendship make this mistake, i did too, so in a way one can relate to it, and how nandini reacted post that, how a guy like dhruv takes the rejection is also portrayed nicely, not unnecessary backstabbing and confusions, and versions of that bindaas sorted-but-messed-up on your face friend like cabir is also someone we come across in life...i do love how realistically all the characters are portrayed, we can readily relate to having friends like one or more of them or may be being one of them .
so yeah babes, be that biatch proudly 😳⭐️
Exactly -- Like, whenever something happens and people go like oh, this is wrong -- he shouldn't do that, she should have done that -- I be like, but this is so realistic even if it is not idealistic. Because we have been introduced to these characters and have been shown how they are and what makes them tick.
Either it be Manik going ballistic on Nandini when he told her that she knew about Bira's secret while people were so offended by the manhandling. Or Nandini helping Manik taking care of Cabir even though he broke up with her a few hours ago in a royally messed up way. Or Cabir showing Harshad's video which wasn't realistic but instigated by Cabir when he exchanged Harshad's drink with the drink of the girl that Harshad had spiked with date rape drugs.
Might not be idealistic and what you would want to see, but it was all realistic. Just because Nandini was hurt, doesnt mean she will give up her own nature and humanity and leave someone dying. Manik might be in love but that doesnt mean he will change completely and not react severely when he thinks that his people are in danger.Cabir might be wise and sorted but he is who he is and he won't just sit around while someone, that too a homophobic psychopath f**ks with him and his lover.
All the realism.Much appreciation. 🤗
