Manik is very precious. Looking at the way he is, always up and alert, protecting his friends, maintaining that tough guy facade, a monster, every night he might have crumbled down, in his room, where no one is watching, no one is calling out to him, he might fall apart every night, might talk to those stars. Vent out his anger, his sorrows, and next morning, wake up, note to self "come on Manik, you can do this" and carry on with the facade.
He needed someone who could see through this facade, and that' when he got Nandini, the only person who could see his hidden side, his vulnerabilities. His sorrows, his fears. She will help him in fighting those demons.

I wonder what if Nandini never came? How long would he carry on with this facade? Makes my heart cry with just the thought.

Too many demons Bushy. Just too many to count but all of them seem so little when I see Nandani taking care of Manik...She will get through this, and will make sure he emerges much stronger from all of this. He has endured too much and I only hope the rest of his life will only have that much happiness and MORE in his bucket. Thats what he deserves - Someone who loves him, will always be there for him, someone who he wont have to hide from or not be able to show his vulnerabilities too...THERES JUST SO MUCH and Manik Malhotra is JUST...UFF I love the work and thought that has gone in building this character - I fall in love with him with every new episode...And, this is not the case for me when it comes to TV Shows.

The facade and Nandani - All timely, Bushy. They were calling to each other because Fate knew one would have to leave, while the other would come into his life to shine for him. Fate, the answer of it all, MaNan are fated, and thats the truth. Facade was just ready to fall, and Nandani was right at the corner, just waiting for the same. This is just so beautiful. They be so much love. *tears*

Manik in the end is still stuck at that age when he was fighting for his life that night, hence all the stubbornness and all the pretense of being some sort of monster , because for him that is the only way he can fight his fears.
