Despite of seeing and hurting himself, he is still has the ability to over come. The only difference is that he takes the pain much more greater than he gives it to Nandini. All of your points mentioned in your post have been discussed by me with one of my friend. You wrote what exactly I have thought of him since the beginning. This man is totally insane and the selflessness in him is what makes him unique.

The responsibilities that he is carrying has higher risk for him being torn apart even more. And he is ready to do his destruction with full intentions. He knows that will be the end of him when he finally will break his love into more pieces. The path which they intend to spend the night on is self destructive as well. They will fall for it, but like you mentioned, Manik will make sure he let it break that again. He will push Nandini away even further than he did last time and that's what I am most afraid off. Even though, the precap looks HOT, but I am afraid of that night if they get intimate or even tried to do so. I am afraid of the same Manik Malhotra who would do anything to break himself apart again. And the reason will only be one... Selfless!
