Why did Dhruv propose when Nandini was ranting?

I really would like to understand this.

Even if the girl is in love with you, why would you propose when she is ranting against the world, men and love? The girl would just take her shoe out and hit you with it.

Why can't Dhruv listen to Nandini for once and not just hear what he wants to hear.

I feel sad for his tears but even more I feel sad that he's so out of touch with reality, because when the shock truly hits him, it will be so bad.

Will Nandini even see him as a friend if he continues to try and woo her? Will it be like a betrayal of her friendship for her?

Apparently, love makes you blind and deaf ... I thought it was just a saying --- Dhruv is taking to a new level right along with Alya ... Manik too on some level ...

I thought Nandhini had someone to rant too but woh bhi galat nikla -_-

Who gave him the pep talk to propose during a ranting session just who?

Dhruv was supposed to make her smile but i think he needs help more than Nandhini

I think he was very nervous already, and just panicked and blurted it out when she started ranting about boys and love. Yeah it was dumb of him because he was not listening to her at all but...that's Dhruv 2.0 for you. I'd just give him the benefit of doubt and say that all this is very new to him, he was crazy nervous. & yes, very self-centred too.

On one hand I felt sorry for him but then my poor heart-broken Nandu has to forget her heartbreak and console him😕 I don't even know what to feel anymore with regards to his character.

He has become suddenly single minded..😕..It's like you got a complete plastic surgery of your character..First i thought may be he is irritating manik so that he confess..But seeing today's episode, I think may be they want to show him as a person who can't look beyond the facade..He is not good at reading people..But he is the same guy who first talked about manik's obsession with nandhini..well cv's have gone mad..and they are making me mad 😳

When a girl is crying and ranting about men and their cheating, I expects a boy (he may be
friend or lover) to make her laugh or just understand her pov and give her your shoulder 😕.
thats what I saw in indian tellys and films upto now. Never saw a confession to same girl 😆
immediately. .

Is dhruv don't want to see nandini's pain or his mind is completely hijacked by
aliya's delusional words?

I don't get this ever. It seemed like he was too sure of her answer that he took her choice as granted. It didn't seem to him that perhaps she just thinks of him as a friend and especially when she was ranting , upset and clearly choking , he took it as a sigh not to console and be there for her but dropped a bomb which no girl would expect at that time.

Was it just nervousness or he was too over-zealous to get it over with. I mean Cabir is in hospital, Harshad is after them and he thinks of this!

Nandini's response was spot on- she had W*F written all over face.

I really want to care for him but his delusions, inability to read other's sentiments make him so insensitive. Like Cabir said , he needs to start using his head.

Dhruv operates from some other planet, bas. Who even is he? What does he care for? I don't even know.

The way Nandu asked him to chin up was so heartbreaking. Dhruv proposing is another blow for her. We can see that Dhruv is completely oblivious to her person but for Nandu, he was the one person who hadn't changed. Sweet Dhruv who came to her house at 4 am to check on her. Just when she needed a friend more than she needed anything in the world, Dhruv turned his back on her too. If he really goes ahead with the wooing, Nandu will just shut him out, I feel. There is only so much hurt a person can take.

Because Dhruv is so far gone in his delusion. He just sees what he wants to see and thinks everything will go according to how he sees and wants it. Along with being friend-zoned, he kinda got a reality check for a minute but it wasn't long till our optimistic "half glass full" queen, Alya dragged him back into the ponies and unicorn land again.

He doesn't notice the obvious. This girl who is talking about not believing in love and then he goes all "I Louuu you.. Mere dictionary mein you are love".. Chal bey. Kaha se khareeda aise bokwaas dictionary! -_-

Manik thinks that Dhruv can make her smile and happy. Alya thinks he can woo her into saying yes. And DHRUV is all like lalalala! Kya ho raha hai? Mukti is alll absorbed in her own mess. Cabir is like, 'such basic idiots I've got as friends. Use your BRAIN"
