He could have spewed his fake hatred again, he could have said yes, I wanted to see if my plan worked or not, that would help him in his sacrifice plan, but he chose to be truthful. He chose to not pretend, he is already tired of his pretence, like he can't be bothered anymore. Nandini is going to observe this, she will deduce something, she will ponder over it and think that there is something wrong with Manik, why does he not look like the monster he's trying to be?

I don't think that she will ponder so soon on Manik right now. She is too messed up and too broken to think straight. 🥺

When she touched him to check if he was real,it's because in her heart, she just wished that Manik would come and clear all the lies and misconceptions. She just wished that all this awful night was simply a nightmare and she would just wake up and everything will be back to normal.

But when she felt he was real, and standing right infront of her, the harsh reality hit her again, that all this pain was real, the heart-break was real and Manik has indeed broken her trust. 🥺

the worst thing is not that Manik broke her heart but that she in now doubting herself, her emotions, that faith that she has in her, that allowed her to see people for what they are truly, she is now questioning her own beliefs, not just the fireflies theory😭. Her self confidence is so shattered😭

@Medha: Exactly. He can't take back his words but he's hoping that she will connect the dots and see through his mask. He is getting all frustrated coz she's taking it all wrong, she's falling for his facade so easily, and Dhruv's delusional behaviour is also getting on his nerves.
