Why can't DhruNi be a couple? - Page 2

But I don't understand why some DhruNi fans are disappointed that they are not a couple. Why? From the very beginning of the show when Nandini & Manik were introduced, it was always hinted that they were the OTP couple of the show. Where Nandini was shown hating stars and Manik was shown loving stars. Then, when Manik saved Nandini's fireflies and they glowed. The makers have given such obvious hints that it will be Manik and Nandini together. So, why were people expecting DhruNi to get together when it was quite obvious about who will be end game? I don't get it. Wasn't this the expected outcome?

People don't need reasons to love someone or something. We love them we love them. And Yes we knew It would be Manan at end. But It was supposed to be a copy of BOF so lots of us thought for sometime we would see them as a couple. But It never happened so we were disheartened.

The first post of this thread is asking why cant they have dhruni now..so we are responding to how impossible that is, especially now. It would be character assassination to all of them. And that is why we explained why it wasn't Dhruni and always Manan. And in BOF, there were never these fire flies, nor was Dhruv in THAT show had a disorder, NOR there was harshad and nor did that MANIK had a gf. It has been clearly stated that ky2 is an adaptation of BOF, not a copy. Sorry for being alittle blunt.

coz Nandu is Manik's star...he is her firefly...he is in her prayers...nobody else.

These two are freaking ice nd fire together...they love each other as much as they hate one another at moments...they are toxic yet soothing for one another.They're like a disease to each other. ..they're infected by one another.

MaNan are flawed yet only for one anothet.

Bcoz I love MaNan! may be some of u still want dhruv -nandini to be together but dono poore nai ho sakte!

It means then that you don't understand this story. Tell me, how is Dhruv helping Nandini now? He has no clue why she is upset. And here is one key difference between Manik and Dhruv:
When Dhruv broke his friendship with Nandini, not once did he seek her out.
When Manik broke her heart, he is still seeking her, being with her. That is the difference. True love can't be hidden, you can't stop yourself. And besides there is no growth between Dhruni, how can they help eachther? Dhruv needs constant guidance from others to go to Nandini whereas Manik is following his heart and Nandini understands this.
