Honestly, I am a little at unease with this whole thread of Cabir being shamed and ridiculed for his sexuality as a punishment for his sins. I mean, I get that Shahid feels vindicated or whatever and I do think that Fab 5 had it coming but idk, I can't put my finger on it. It is just disturbing me.
Like, it happens with who knows how many people of the L.G.B.T. community on a daily basis. It might be happening with so many people right now as we discuss it. I steer clear of Homophobes and misogynists , I dont need that shit to pollute my life, really.
The video thing was already going to extrem and people were saying that, well they had it coming, it was a payback, Revenge for the people who they targeted ... Yeah, Ok! Great!
But how come physical abuse, that too on such a big level that you are bashing the head of the person with heavy blunt stuff. Is Harshad really so stupid that he doesn't know what serious damage it can do to someone being hit on the head? How come you call this tit-for-tat? That went way way beyond revenge and payback. And who he f*ck is Harshad to be taking revenge for everyone and anyone targeted by fab5? As if he gives a damn about other people. It has always been about his hatred, his victory, his ego ... no one else's.
I will tell you what, the very fact that loving someone, expressing your love to someone can be used to as a dirty 'secret' to 'expose' you, to shame you, humiliate you and used as an excuse to beat you up to death is what is so wrong with the situation ...
