Aaahh Maisy!! 🤗
I feel like I've gotten a much-needed booster to write those reviews again!
It's physically exhausting, you know- spewing vitriol against a character you love so much! Although I still stand by a few things I've said, for example- he just SHOULDN'T have poked fun and ridiculed all their moments of intimacy! You said it was for revenge, fine- he should have left it at that!
But now that the damage's already done and the fireflies have escaped, I'll come back to present.
Your analysis on Manik and his impulsive nature sorta reminded me of one of Anupam Kher's dialogue from 'Yamla Pagla Dewaana'- "Praaji hum talwaar pehle chalate phir uss mare hue bande se yeh poochte hain ki usne kia kya tha"? 🤣 🤣
Your first line on not hating Harshad- *sigh*- just what I needed. 😳
He had turned into a male version of Nina Sayers (Natalie Portman's character from 'Black Swan')- minus the delusions. As the main even was drawing closer, his obsession and desperation increased and made him do things that he did.
And now that he's done with Cabir, it will be remained to be seen whether the failure of all his plans will make him snap like a normal 19-20 year old or will make him plan something bigger?
There's a possibility of NH3 breaking due to this- Harshad's already mad at Nandini, Navya has sensed that something's off with both (or so I hope) and Nandini is just too vulnerable right now.
It will also be interesting to see whether Harshad shifts his attention towards someone else.
I made a post regarding him and I'm guessing (rather hoping) that he'd somehow figure the MaNan khichdi like he figures out everything that's Manik-related. 😆
Ok now, you dissected Manik's character in your post and I'm doing 'Harshad jaap' since last night, so don't mind. 😆
